One of the best
One of the best Bavarian wheat beers, brewed there and imported into England. One has to be grateful to Erdinger for being the first brewery about 20 years back, starting to export their product into England. Many other German high quality beer brands have followed since; there is no longer any lack of variety of German beers in England. And Erdinger Hefeweizen have been the first, IIRC. Albeit we prefer the taste of Franziskaner Hefeweizen a tad bit more -- both are available on Amazon Fresh, and we order them both alternatingly. Recommend!

Fantastic
It’s like a little taste of Germany in every sip, unleashing your inner German with its rich, refreshing flavor. A popular choice in Germany for a reason—grab it and you won’t regret it! Prost!

The worst wheat beer you will ever try
I don't know how they have the cheek to call it a weissbier. It has NONE of the flavours of a decent weissbier. Save your money and seek out Franziskaner or Paulaner weissbier. Your taste buds will love you forever.

A very poor choice of ONLY Weißbier to stock.
as someone who grew up around a Bavarian I'm well versed in wheat beers and have my favourites.Erdinger is by far and away the most popular brand for buyers in UK supermarkets to stock.I don't know whether that's down to ignorance of what a decent wheat beer is supposed to taste like (i.e. not like this) or because they get a sweet kickback from the brewery.Nevertheless...when I'm looking to buy a weißbier, if I see that this is the only option... I look to see if instead they stock any decent British craft ales because this stuff is weak and watery, bordering on tasteless with none of the complexity of flavour which bursts on your tongue from a good weißbier.I've had this a number of times over the last 4 decades and every single time it has disappointed me.Basically... if this is the only weißbier they have... get something else instead because this stuff is pretty rubbish.I'm very partial to Franziskaner Weizen mit Hefe which some supermarkets still stock and is a bazillion times better than this, for the same price or sometimes, less.
