so i keep looking for a lamb dry rub in stores and cant find anything... lamb is kind of a rare meat in the US so i get why finding rub for it is so difficult. but this product is fantastic for flavor. i dont know where folks think that lamb has to be covered in Mint so this rub has a great balance of a slight mint and other flavors. highly recommended. i dont use this on leg of lamb but rather chops i grill.i put the rub in a bowl and add a little olive oil then dip the lamb completely on all sides and done...

Ok Folks - listen up. For special occasions, we'll spend the big bucks and get a rack of lamb. You're lucky today if you can even find it in the stores - it's so expensive - often at $20-40 per pound. So, the very last thing you want to do, after spending all that money, is ruin it with the wrong flavoring. Colorado Spices, New Zealand Lamb Rub has the right blend of herbs that goes well on just about any meat. We just used it on some fresh bluefin and yellowfin tuna and it was FANTASTIC. My 88 year old Mother, who cooks every day and is not a huge spice fan (she's used to plain, New England cooking) loves and uses the rub on chicken, lamb, and fish. She's having me order another case and loves the individual packets - as the rub does not lose its taste or flavor and stays fresh. This is a great product!

This rub is excellent but have the Tums ready.

I cooked lamb bi-weekly for over 25 year, have mixed seassoning for many years and can't beat it, nothing beats New Zealand Lamb Rub. Amazing how it brings mouth-watering flavors out, especially on lamb and even better if you add smoke.

This is my first time buying this particular rub. I appreciate that packaging and overall quality... But this is not tasty at all. I bought it when I couldn't find my choice seasoning. It was a major mistake.... I would not recommend and would not but again. Ignore the other reviews, this is not a flavorful blend.

This is a perfect blend for lamb chops. You don't need to add anything else to your meat when you use this blend of seasonings. I highly recommend this item.

I used to spend quite a bit $$ on herbs and spices to make a lamb marinade from my husband's Lebanese Mom's recipe. Frankly I could never quite get it right and it was very frustrating! This lamb rub is amazing! Add it to equal parts lemon juice and light olive oil and marinade your lamb at least 24 hours. You won't be disappointed! (P.S. we are salt sensitive and have not noticed it being too salty like others have said, maybe the lemon and olive oil tone it down a bit - try it this way!)
