The Funkoverse universe games are a must have if you like board games - and I love them! What is so awesome about this game is that there are so many characters and combinations you can play. At the moment, I only have the Harry Potter series, but hope to get the DC comic and back to the future sets as well. Even the GoT set got my mouth watering, and who doesn’t love Jurassic Park, Jaws, the Koolaid man, and Golden Girls .... yes, the Golden Girls. Don’t let them fool you, they have some punch in this game. Wanna play with Harry, Batman, and the Joker - you can in this multi-universe game. For this set specifically, I like Dumbledore the best and one side of the board is his chambers - how cool is that. Severus is also OP with a challenge of 4 almost guarantees a knockdown of a user if you are not on his side.

Easy to get started. You are walked through how to play a round and introduced to the game mechanics as you go. After you learn to play there are a ton of combinations of characters, maps, objectives etc. to keep things fun. Each full game and even the expansions come with additional play areas, items, and characters. I play Gloomhaven and this was a great way to get family members who are casual players interested in this style of gameplay.

Buy it. The best game ever.

Overall fun game but somewhat complex set of rules for gameplay. Feel like once we get the hang of this, it will be more fun and offers a good chance of repeated play with several different game scenarios. That being said, I feel like the creators of the game missed a real opportunity with this one. First, I can't believe they didn't include Minerva McGonagall, not only in this set, but in ANY of the Harry Potter Funkoverse game sets. Set # 100 includes Harry, Hermione, Voldemort and Bellatrix: perfect starter set. Second, Set # 101 only offers TWO characters: Ron and Draco Malfoy. That's a bit of a gip really. Third, instead of including McGonagall, this set offers Snape, Dolores Umbridge, Dumbledore and--- HAGRID?!? He's not even a tenured professor!!! They should have included McGonagall in this set, that way it would have been a perfect ALL PROFESSOR set. Then they could have stuck Hagrid in the pack along with Ron and Draco and thrown in Lucius Malfoy to make it four, instead of gipping us with a crappy two-pack. Total missed opportunity.

I've only used three of the four characters, but it's more Funkoverse. Either you're into it or not. My review won't sway you, right? Super fun little game.

Not an easy game to learn... I bought it because my daughter went through a HP phase... we will never play again😂🤦🏻‍♀️
