I purchase this cutlery set to replace an older Chicago Cutlery set purchased 14 years ago. Originally I was skeptical of its quality of the knives. Cuisinart has been known for reliable quality electronic kitchen appliances. So when I spotted this set, I had to purchase them. Six serrated steak knives, a bread knife, steak knife, pairing knife, heavy duty kitchen shears and more!! Each have a very comfortable metal handle that is milled specifically to prevent slipping. The display block is solidly made and has rubber feet to keep them displayed in place. Each blade seems balanced and comfortable making them easy to use. I love the serrated everyday steak knives. I have seen similar knife sets from those claiming German Steal and Japanese knives for over 3 times of the cost of these. As an everyday user, I doubt that I could tell the difference between these knives as opposed to those higher priced ones. So far, I am very impressed.

I finally decided to purchase this set after searching for a while. I am very pleased. Sharp. I’m not sure it’s recommended, but I put the big knives on top rack in dishwasher and so for not rust! It’s been a few months now! Good quality for inexpensive price.

We’ve had these now for several months. For the money, it seems to be a very decent set of knives. They are sharp, the handles feel good and no signs of rust yet. I also have some high end global knives and they actually rust. Happy with these so far!

They aren’t just beautiful and stylish! But sharp, well-balanced, and easy to use. They feel great in hand and make cooking a lot smoother! Best decision!

I purchased this knife set after weeks and weeks of scouring reviews. We’ve had the knives about a month now and so far they are pretty nice. They are definitely sharp and I like the variety of blades included. The only negative comment - which is also just my preference is that because the knife block is not wooden- it’s sort of a composite maybe, that when you put a knife back in and you aren’t careful you may accidentally hit the tip of a knife on the block and dent/scrape it. I wasn’t being overly careful at first and it definitely put a mark on the block when I missed the slot one day. Now I’m just extra careful.

Great knives, material is sturdy, cleans up easy.

I always go Cuisinart for knife sets. I’m definitely not a chef but I do cook every day and these stay sharp and have beautiful handles. Don’t put the big knives in the dishwasher though or you’ll get orange spots.
