P&LMen's Blazer Jacket - Classic Fit Sport Coat, Stretch Sport Jacket for Business, Weddings & Daily Wear

I am VERY difficult to fit, I need somewhere over a size 56 suit to fit my chest and shoulders, I wear roughly size 36 pants and have long arms, typically wear shirts with 38-39" sleeves. I have always had to get jackets/suits custom or semi-custom (Nordstrom made to order) made at many times the price of this. Most recently I tried a major chain "separates" and it took 14 fittings/alteration sessions before it looked OK. I typically need a 12-14 size drop between the top and bottom of my suits, the biggest normal athletic cut drop is usually about 8.I needed something for an event on short notice, and was in the position that "something has to work out or I'm going without a jacket." Well, I decided I'll try ordering a couple of jackets off Amazon that were advertised as being made of stretchy fabric and order them on the smallish side of what usually fits me and see if I can get something close enough to wear. I ordered a 56-tall.It turned out to be next to perfect. The little bit of stretch made up for where jackets normally pull or don't fit and also let it lay flat over my chest and upper back where I often need many alterations before it works out, the tall was just long enough to look good, the cuffs were in the correct location, and the bottom of the suit was not overly large (note if you need the size in the waist I wouldn't be surprised if you might need to size up from what you normally wear). It had a very good, traditional fit, not quite the overly fitted look that has been in style recently. Best of all, and besides fit my next biggest worry and biggest surprise, it didn't look cheap at all. It actually looked very similar to a wool jacket/slacks I had made at Nordstrom that cost right around $1200. The pattern in the fabric has enough hints of different colors that it looks good with multiple different trousers and ties, it ends up making it very flexible, I found 2 pairs of trousers in my closet that were completely different colors that looked good with it, it would also look good with a pair of jeans if that's a look you go for.The cons (none of which are enough to take any stars off):- It came folded in a bag, which meant it was wrinkled when I pulled it out. I let it hang for a day on a proper oversized suit hanger and it didn't change. You're not going to pull it out of the packaging and just put it on and wear it to an event and look sharp. In reality, this worked out as a positive, I took the time to steam the wrinkles out and specifically to my shape, making it fit pretty close to how it would if it was custom-tailored.- I'm not sure if the outside pockets are tacked shut or false pockets. The flap was clearly tacked shut like most jackets come which I cut open, but the pockets are too well sewn to seem tacked shut. Since I needed it for the next day when I noticed I wasn't about to risk trying it since you couldn't tell with it on.

The jacket was beautifully tailored. My husband is a larger size but the jacket fit him very nice and showed quality. So glad we purchased it.

Size recommended online was correct. Stitching, construction and materials display attention to detail. Overall, the blazer is a good value for the price.

I bought this for my son’s school uniform, great fit, nice fabric texture, wrinkle resistant and good style.

I was looking for an inexpensive, thin, very easy to roll up and pack, travel casual dress jacket. The price point was good for this jacket and the quality seems ok. This almost worked.Practically, buying a casual dress jacket online is difficult. They have a good sizing chart - I ordered one size up; two up might have helped. Two things didn't work. I'm tall and the sleeve length was a just a bit short - but again, for the throw on jacket for a travel dress evening could have worked. What didn't work was the buttons - and the pic online does correctly show them; take note - I just didn't notice. The buttons stand out - the two front and the sleeves - like the blazers of old. If the buttons had been dark, non-descript, I would have kept the jacket. To recap - quality is good for the intent and price point; the very visible buttons may be a no-go for you; size up at least one; sleeves could be a bit short if long arms. Still, a quality product and would have kept for intended use, except for the buttons.

The black sports coat was a perfect fit and it had a couple of great surprises. It had three pockets inside the jacket including a smaller one for change, a pocket watch or whatever you need to keep handy. The lining was very classy and it was hard to believe for the price. Highly recommend !

its not a bad jacket, not as nice as i thought it would be for the $. Material is mid grade at best, and the mid section fit is too big so i will have to get it taken in.
