Followed instructions so no problems with splitting in freezer. A bit awkward to get on but provides cooling soothing when in place.

High quality item, easy to adjust for good fit. Comfortable and very effective in applying cold treatment to shoulder.

Quite effective and the gel pack stays cold for 1 - 1.5 hrs. It is quite difficult to put on by yourself and the elastic around your body slips up letting the shoulder pack slide down your arm. It is ok to put on to watch tv or other static things. The strap is not clipped on but has a sliding buckle which slips letting the gel pad slip.

This was a carefully considered, ultimately disappointing purchase. The shoulder brace is a great idea, and even without the cold/hot pack, the compression felt great, and the brace was supportive. I am a small-framed woman and chose this brace because it seemed to be cut higher under the arm, and the strap looked thinner than the other options on offer.When the brace is worn it's clear to see it's been designed to fit a man's body. Women's shoulders are, typically, narrower than men's, so the upper edge of the brace does not sit as high as it needs to be to keep the gel pack where will do the most good. the contraption hung off my shoulder, no matter how tightly I fitted the strap, which placed the brace at my anterior deltoid instead of my shoulder joint.About the strap, if you're a woman, you'll need to decide whether to wear it above or below your bust. If you're full-busted there really is no great option for placement. Placement above the bust might work if your chest is small and your shoulders are wide.In short, this is not a unisex item. It's been designed for men's bodies and that is the shape you need to be in order to use it. Hugely disappointing purchase, slightly mitigated by the fact that it doesn't come in pink.

Perfect item to use when recovering from a shoulder injury or surgery

I received this item, it works fine but the strap doesn't detatch it is connected to the sleeve at both ends which makes it difficult to put on ,you have to adjust by sliding the buckle to increase tension

Bought this to help to ice a bad shoulder, works really well, has bought much relief to tendinitis in shoulder. Easy to use and comfortable.
