Everyday PLNT-10-FBA Round Paper Lantern (10 Pack), 10", White

I bought these as an arts and crafts project for 4-5 year olds to paint on. I read a lot of reviews of this product and others and couldn't really come to a conclusion whether these would hold up to a bunch of kids painting water colors on. Well I'm here to tell you, it worked great. The paper was strong enough to hold up to water paints, and while a few kids accidentally punctured it with the fairly fine brushes, the lantern ball stayed intact. Most kids had no issues with this, including my 2 year old. They make great decorations too! They have two hooks, one to hang on a string, and the other to hold a light source of some sort inside the lantern.

Great price for 10 lanterns, needed these for a friend's baby shower. I considered buying color ones but if you're looking for a cheap alternative these paint pretty great.I looked up different painting strategies and didn't have the space for spray paint so I went with a watercolor option. I wouldn't try to paint them a bright color, the paper does get soft and you need to be gentle. The lanterns looked great once they dried, the paper is thin but there's really no need for a more "durable" paper lantern unless you expect to handle it often or will keep it outdoors long-term.

Purchased these to decorate an outdoor garden for a baby shower and they worked perfectly. They were super easy to put together. We opted to hang them with curling ribbon so that we could easily hang and remove them. I just received the lanterns yesterday to use for decoration for my birthday party. They arrived as expected and only one of the wire supports was broken but it didn't affect the lantern's ability to be used in any way. The quality is as I expected, pretty cheaply made with thin paper, but this is perfect for what I needed it for which is just for one day. And the price was great, especially comparing to lanternsI was considering buying at stores which were made better with thicker paper, but I wanted a bunch for cheap and I didn't need anything super durable - if they last past one day, great, otherwise, no big deal. I ordered the white ones, but I wanted them to be turquoise to add some color to the party and I imagine others viewing this product might also want to change the natural color for other one-day events, so I'll include what I did below.I googled options to color them. Spray paint and spray dye were the best two options for the thin paper quality of these lanterns. One woman had a tutorial where she ombre dipped paper lanterns in plates with pools of food coloring or some other dye, but I think these lanterns are too thin to directly dip in any liquid without the lantern breaking apart from the wires embedded into the lantern paper.Spray painting is a pain to do (from experience), so instead, I got found one-step tie dye made by Tulip from my local craft store which was less than $3. I mixed it accordingly in a regular household spray bottle, put on my kitchen gloves, and set the bottle nozzle to most misting setting, and sprayed color on evenly on all sides. I hung them to dry using my laundry drying rack, and placed a fan on it's lightest setting in the room and waited about 10-15 min until they were basically dry. Photos are posted if you are curious how they turned out. The color was pretty rich, maybe not super even because you can spray marks along the wire hems, but I don't really care that much. I could have easily done a second coat to fix this.

Met the need as a a craft for my daughter's Japanese-themed birthday party. Girls decorated with sharpies and highlighters. Some lanterns were more difficult than others to put "together" for the candle holder part. Used the battery-operated tealights from Dollar Tree.

Took seconds to build each one. Very sturdy and we even bounced one around like a ball for a while before hanging it up in our bedroom. These paper lanterns look great and do not lose their shape, rip or tear easily.We used nail hooks that we bought at Walmart for $2 and some fishing line we had lying about to hang the fishing line across the top of our bedroom. We then hung these lanterns on the fishing line to keep them floating over our heads!Very decorative and festive. These paper lanterns brought a new appeal to our bedroom!

These arrived to me in the right amount of time and they were what I ordered, but when I decided to return them I was charged $6.75. Like any purchase, I have the right to return them and being a prime member I should be able to do this without shipping cost. I pay a premium to be a prime member and I assume that I shouldn't be burdened with anything shipping fees considering I pay amazon 75 bucks a year to avoid that. I will NEVER purchase from this store again.

Great product. Sturdy and also comes with a closed wire hook that's not shown which allows it to easily be hung to the ceiling or trees without fear of it being blown off by the wind. The hook also allows a mini light to be hung. Good product at a great price. Shipped fast.

Bought these lanterns together with string lights as decorations for our outdoor wedding. They were easy to set up and looked great! I bought 2 packs and was able to set up all 20 within 10-15 minutes without any breaking.
