My dog loves yak milk "bones." She has gotten them now and then for several years. Since she settles down to gnaw on these yak "chews" several times per day, I think she loves these, too. She may work on that yak chew for a half hour before moving on to something else like going outside.She is three days into the first one. It is only half gone.As a flat-coated retriever, she is not the type that crushes or conquers food items. She has picked up and delivered tiny baby animals, alive and undamaged. She is a retriever. With a different temperament, yak chews might vanish much faster. If your dog is like mine, one pack of yak chews could last three weeks.Several advantages of yak chews over regular bones:1. Never "yucky" like fresh marrow bones. No flies. No residue.2. No bone shards to endanger the dog. (There is still some potential for a choking hazard, as with anything a dog chews.)3. First of all, the packaging is really appealing. The bag is sealed for the single large chew and there's a desiccant in the bag to keep it fresh. This detail did not go unnoticed when buying pet treats from an online warehouse. This is much bigger than I expected (I got the large) so instead of giving it to my 9 lb terrier mix- I gave it to my boyfriends 4 month old rottweiler. Trixie LOVED it- the best part is it took awhile to chew it. I was thinking this would last two seconds with her strong jaw and teeth- NOPE. Worth it.

I have purchased these a few times and I am usually happy with the quality of the treats and how long they last. Recently one in the multi-pack was mostly hollow which made it easier for my dog to break it apart and consume it more rapidly. I recommend this brand but watch your dog when they are eating these and listen for chipping and similar sounds and toss them if they seem too brittle.

We usually buy another brand of yak chews but wanted to try these as we thought they were a bit cheaper. Pics show what I received. I ordered the pkg of 5 Large sticks. The bag was less than a pound. They were also not as long as the description said. I noticed after getting them that there is no expected weight given on the pkg. my puppy def likes the other brand better. It took her awhile to decide to chew on one of these but after she tried it she seems ok with it. It seems to last for quite a while. I am disappointed in the amount & size of the sticks I received for the price paid.

I have 2 small dogs. My dogs love these treats. One chew can keep them occupied for hours. The only drawback is if one finishes before the other, they sometimes fight over it. However, I have already ordered more because this is such a good treat for them. This is more than I normally spend on a treat with this many in the bag, but it is worth it.

I was looking for a treat that would last and not leave my pup's paws and floors sticky. This is the one we'll be buying again and again. His teeth were also so clean after one stick which took about a week for him to finish. I'll highly recommend it!

We needed something that would keep our rat terrier occupied while we are on Zoom meetings at home. He doesn't chew very long at all on synthetic bones, and wolfs down the chew treats too quickly. This yak bone keeps him chewing for about 15 minutes at a time, and lasts a long time. It does emit an unpleasant but tolerable odor while he chews it, like old cigarette whiff, but the smell does not stay with him. I will repurchase until he gets tired of them.

My toy schnauzer loved these. It is true the pic looks like you get a lot however in the description it does state 4 small. Smells like burning wood. And does leave some pieces on the rug. I soaked it and put it in the microwave. Yogi loved the crunchy snack that way too. Finished one in one day.
