Outdoor Tech OT1301 Buckshot - Super-Portable Rugged Water-Resistant Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Camo)

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and he LOVED IT. during the winter we have been using it in our home, it is easy to use and the sound is very high quality. Love the Camo print.

I was using a Nokia Windows Phone with this product. At home, not moving, works and sounds great. On the bike for a roadie (ie if you go over 15mph avg) wind noise its not really loud enough.. if you're just cruising slowly it would be fine.. Mountain biking (ie 10mph) it seems to 'almost' ok, however, the strap is not sturdy enough for actual mountain biking as it was flopping all over the place, you will need to add some heavy duty rubber bands to secure it better, but that's minor. My primary issue is my phone is carried in my camelbak (when mtnbikng), and it seems the bluetooth signal was not transmitting smoothly (as I'm assuming it doesn't pass thru the body and nothing around for the signal to bounce back on?) as the music was choppy. I put the speaker itself in the camelbak facing upwards and the choppy sound went away, but again not so easy to hear. Its a cool little product but needs stronger reception of bluetooth signal, and sturdier mount. Maybe a different mount option would be nice, like putting it on my camelbak strap on my shoulder somehow.. I can probably use zip ties and try it.

Worked as spected. Nice sound, easy to charge, easy mount and dismount, love the color.

Would not pair...tried everything. I may have recorded a faulty unit. Lost patience did not reorder.
