Would Recommend; Easy to Use
We were skeptical how this would perform based on mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. We bought this for our 46" mower and used it for the first time yesterday, doing about 10 loads, filling all three bags each load. We have a lot of pecan trees, and this made rounding up the leaves so much easier. The bags fill with leaves quickly, and it's easy to empty them. This will be great to easily add grass and leaves to a compost pile!We were impressed with how it operated. We think it operated as well as it did because the ground cover was thick with leaves, and it was dry. Wet conditions wouldn't be a good time to use this, but that is also the case for mowing in general (not recommended to mow a wet lawn).I don't see any reason not to recommend this. It appears to have reasonable durability. As of right now, we're happy with the product and giving it 5 stars.

Huge Time Saver
This bagger saved me hours of work doing fall clean up. Installation and assembly took about 15 minutes, and everything fit my YTH22V46 perfectly. Instructions could be a little better, it comes with 2 shoulder bolts that replace 2 shorter bolts that need to be removed and the instructions don't state that. It bagged my yard full of leaves in less than 2 hours, and the bag full indicator works flawlessly. The price on Amazon was lower than most other places I looked.

Price is high, but there's no other option for me.
It's a pretty good bagger. I bought for my Poulan Pro PP19A42 and it was a perfect fit. Getting the rear bracket bolts started did take a hammer, but after a couple of taps they started to thread fine. The chute attaches well to the deck with the bungee straps, but the slotted portion at the top comes off the deck fairly often. It doesn't affect much in operation, but I'm afraid it may wear and break over time.Aside from that, everything assembles easily and the baskets are convenient to add and remove for dumping. I also like that there is an activity wheel built into the chute that indicates air and material is still passing through when blades are engaged. It notified me of clogs a couple of times while doing leaf cleanup. Taking it apart to clean out the chute was pretty simple. The entire system can be added and removed very easily. The brackets are very thick steel and everything else is study plastic. I'd say it's fairly well made, if not a couple of minor design issues.Mine is the 42" deck version and compared to most baggers for other lawn tractors, I'd say this one is on the high side. Overall, I needed it and it works fine. I wish there were other options, but from what I've read, this is the only one that actually fits the PP19A42.

Fits and Works Well
I bought this a couple months ago and have now had a chance to use it a few times.First: It fit perfectly to my Husqvarna YT-2042 without any fuss or finagling. I know some people complained about getting it to fit right but I had no problem to get it connected in a short period of time. My only issues was the parts list. The first order of business is typically to check the parts in the shipment with the parts list but the parts list is incomplete. I guess Husqvarna figures parts like screws and bolts are not worth checking.Second: Yes, the bags are a bit small. Well not really small but they do fill up fast. I have a lawn area of about 1-1 1/4 acre and I typically need to empty the bags( 2 for this unit) 4 or 5 times when I mow. There is an indicator that purportedly indicated when the bags are full but what it really does is indicated when the shute is full. So by the times it shows full, the bags are overfull. Cleaning the shute is pretty easy but just a bit more hassle because the shute holds about a 1/2 bags worth of grass.Overall the unit works great and I am happy with it. Not sure if there is a practical way to make it hold more since it is pretty big already . I guess cut grass just takes up a lot of space

Time Saver!!!
Would you rather rake up those leaves or suck them up and dump the bags? We are all too busy trying to get so much done and I can tell you that the "Honey Do List" never gets shorter. This bagger kit helps me getting the "raking" chore done faster with a whole lot of energy saved for other tasks. Does it completely delete having to rake? No, of course not, but your time with the rake is a whole lot less. Some viewers complained about how the red spindle stops spinning and as a rest they didn't know if the bags were full or not. Doesn't bother me if it works or not. I just simply turn around and touch each bag with my hand to feel if they are full and when they are I dump them. It's easy. It's not rocket science. However, if you enjoy raking, pulling muscles in your back or getting blisters on your hands than this is not for you.

Works you to death
I really like my Husqvarna 22HP, 42" riding mower. I bought it on April 27, 2012, because I have almost an acre to mow.My wife insisted that I get a catcher for it because she did not like the cuttings left behind. A Model H242SL catcher just arrived. I installed it and took it for a run. It filled after about 400 feet. The little red spinning wheel that is supposed to tell you when the bins are full only turned once. So, you really have no way of telling if the bins are full. You have to keep guessing when the bins are full. Stopping the mower getting off to check. I went to empty the first time and noticed that the elastic strap (part 532160793) that holds the shoot together was already broken. I emptied the bins and took off again. I checked it again when it looked as though it was not picking up the cuttings. This is because the shoot was full. So every time you have to empty the bins, you have to disassemble the shoot and clean it also.I do not see an option. So if you want a catcher this is it.

works great easy to install
I have an Ariens branded Husquavarna 42 in lawn tractor. I don't understand all the negative reviews. This grass catcher took me less than 15 minutes to install. Everything fits perfectly, all seals up, no leaks or blow by.The bolts that screw into the frame of the tractor were full of paint so took a moment of effort to start to screw in. Use a 1/2 in. 13 mm socket to squarely start them in the threaded holes and all good. The parts seem strong and well designed. I am very happy with this product.

easy to install
easy to install, works great. I am using it now to pick up all my leaves in my yard. Much easier than racking. We have lots of trees, 15 full leaf bags in just the front yard, back yard is 4 time larger. This has saved us lots of time and hardly no racking
