Two CD Import edition of the gifted R&B/Pop vocalist's career retrospective featuring a different track listing than the domestic pressing. Although a constant subject of the tabloids in recent years, there's no denying the power and beauty of Houston's voice which helped to make her one of the most successful female vocalists in history. This import-only version replaces four tracks on the U.S. pressing with: 'Run to You', 'Count on Me' (duet with CeCe Winans), 'Greatest Love of All' (Club 69 Mix) and 'I'm Your Baby Tonight' (Dronez Mix) BMG.

THROWBACK THEATER: The Voice's final performance.
In my head, listening to this is just like being at her final concert, where she sang all her greatest hits while with Arista. You couldn't get any better, unless you did see her in concert. Whitney is FOREVER THAT VOICE that allow the listener to just be soothed, while waiting to jump up and down. From her first to her last with that company, Whitney threw madness with her voice and material. She slayed for points, flowers & chocolates, and was able to give gown, all at the same time. This two disc set is a total testament to who she was and who we embraced in our ears and hearts, and now that she's gone, her musical legacy will live forever. BRAVA WHITNEY....YOU DID YOUR WORK!!!

The Import Version of the Greatest Hits
I just received this imported version of her greatest hits. i also own the US version. I'm actually glad i own both because in this release you get the non-remixed older dance classics on disc 2 plus 4 remixed versions. i also own I Will Always Love You: The Best Of Whitney Houston which i was very disappointed with the sound quality/volume level. the older tracks on this import have obviously been remastered and are much louder, esp compared to the newest "Best Of" collection. that, i like. there seems to be a mistake in the track listing because "I'm Every Woman" is the album version, not the remix edit which is fine with me, although i do prefer the Club 69 remix of GLOA on this version. i'd say the only thing i'd change is the edited/fade-out version of I Will Always Love You. the US release used the same version though.

Very well shipped
Packaged well so that the CD saw no damages while being shipped. Great gift for the older generations that still have a CD collection.

Not Really Essential
Ordered this last December, prior to recent unfortunate events, as a retrospective of the female music artist I would rate #1 for vocal talent but an underachiever for quantity of music output during her quarter century music career. Was extremely disappointed with this release as an "Essential" hits package. Most of her most familiar hits are on disk 1, but her best song "I Will Always Love You" is edited so the long last note of the song is cut off. The second disc is mostly hard to listen to hip hop remix versions of her songs that do nothing to showcase her remarkable vocal talents. Releasing this 2 CD set as two separate CD's makes more sense, since each disk appeals to a much different audience. A superior hits package is the 2007 single CD release called "The Ultimate Collection", although this release also edits the ending of "I Will Always Love You".

Great collection for an amazing price
The cd arrived with a large crack in the jewel case, but I keep my cds in a binder so that was a non-issue for me. This is a great collection of Whitney's myriad hits. The first disc is the hits you've heard on the radio, and the second disc is remixes, which is great for working out to or putting on if you're throwing a party. If you love Whitney (and how can you not?), this one has most of her hits and is a steal for the price.
