Relaxing Crossword Book
I love this crossword book. It is definitely a relaxing way to spend a Sunday. They are high level as they are past NY Times puzzles. I have done a lot of crossword books in my life, and this is my favorite book I have owned.

Like: double-up and put 2 letters in one box
Don't buy if you have trouble reading small print. Also, a small-scale book without a spiral spine - so hard to keep open. Lastly, and most important, there are no titles or themes to the puzzles - you have to figure them out. Like: double-up and put 2 letters in one box; or there's a word missing in two phrases that intersect. Makes some of the puzzles impossible to solve - even for an old pro.

Where are the titles to the puzzles?
We'll, the puzzles are okay, but where are the titles? Anyone who does NYT Sunday puzzles knows that the title of the puzzle is a clue. And that every true Sunday puzzle has a title. When there is another puzzle hidden inside the first one, the title is the key to the solution. For some weird reason the titles to these puzzles are missing. Makes the puzzles less fun. Would not recommend.

A much-appreciated gift for avid puzzlers
My mother's one of those savants who can do the NYT Sunday crosswords in ink, and as she's always been an avid gardener, she loved the theme of this one. I've pre-ordered the next two editions and am happy to have found a fun gift which has the added benefit of intellectual stimulation for an older person who worries about keeping her mind sharp.

I love crosswords! This book is great and has a nice variety of crosswords. They definitely aren't easy, but didn't think they would be. I would recommend.

These are actually pretty hard for me because they use a lot of older references (70s and back) but it does bring a lot of crosswords which I liked

Difficult through Error
For the first time in many years of purchasing volumes of Times Sunday Crossword Puzzles, I have encountered on that has been misprinted: Every one of the puzzles lacks its "title" and none carries an editorial comment. This has made some of the puzzles extremely difficult and two of them insoluble. Shame on the editor / publisher!
