I use this stuff mostly to flavor tea, where it adds a wonderful, rich chocolate taste to what was formerly a rather boring beverage. But...don’t stop there. I add it to chili and mole to give them a deep, dark undertone. I’ve used it in homemade breads, ice cream, and even a few drops in Diet Coke for an unusual, refreshing beverage treat. Fabulous flavoring.

Exactly as the name implies, this is a rich, dark-chocolate flavoring that adds no calories or sweeteners. My personal use of this product is in coffee, to add a mocha flavor without adding sweetness. There are flavored coffees that do this, but they do not always taste right when I use cold-brewing techniques. So I've used this instead and it does the trick nicely.Flavor Essence are pleasant to deal with and added a personal touch of service with regard to my order.

Ok. I had hoped it would boost the chocolate taste when combined with unsweetened cocoa which we use regularly with many dessert recipes. It really didn't do that. Instead it added an unnatural chocolate taste. Will use up but wouldn't buy it again.

I add this to cold water with a drop of spearmint and peppermint oil.Tastes just like Chocolate Metromint Water! I can't find it anywhere anymore so I took a chance at this and I'm glad I did à

Nothing really wrong with this product, I just couldn't get the chocolate flavor or even a chocolate smell. I guess I was using it wrong. Perhaps someone more culinary than I am will know how to use it.

That flavor is wonderful. Very strong with no after taste. Very natural. The key is to use it with creamy and smooth batter, or smoothies. It's like ice cream. Love it so much I order it directly from Flavor Essence now. :)

This is an excellent product. I know a dialysis patient who misses hot chocolate, I bought this for her. Mixed with rice milk and some sweetener is a great substitute for her.
