it holds my 2.0mm pick with no problems

Will a standard teardrop pick fit better in this style or would it fit better in the jazz guitar necklace holder?

My boyfriend is the one who uses these. He puts his standard picks in there as well as his stone picks. He puts up to two at a time if i'm not mistaken.

Is the necklace or the pick holder waterproof?

The pick holder is made of silicone rubber; it is waterproof and will not be damaged by showering in it. I have worn mine while swimming in chlorinated pools and the only issue I've had is the cord has faded to a kind of darkish gray. If you're worried about the cord fading, it is very easy to loosen and remove before swimming or showering. I haven't taken mine off for a year or so, and other than the cord fading, I haven't any problems.
