I use this for my father, who developed dysphagia after a bout of aspiration pneumonia. This product has been a game changer for us. It’s much more affordable than buying pre-thickened drinks, and I can thicken anything he wants at home—milk, tea, juice—without changing the taste, just the texture.We’ve tried the large tubs of powdered thickener and the pre-measured packets, and honestly, this is better than both. The powders can clump, especially in cold drinks, and they take more time and effort to get right. With this gel, I just use the pump, stir briefly, and it’s ready. I adjust the number of pumps depending on the consistency we need—he uses honey thickness, and it’s been reliable every time.The label says it has 92 servings. I don’t count exactly, but one bottle lasts us about six weeks with daily use. We keep it at room temperature—it’s pretty much always on the dining room table for easy access. If you’re a caregiver or supporting someone recovering from aspiration pneumonia or dealing with swallowing challenges, I highly recommend this. It’s made a difficult situation a little easier.

This is the best of the thickeners I've tried. It has no flavor, and it thickens quickly and well. Far better than all the others. I'm giving it four stars for two reasons:1. It is ridiculously expensive2. The applicator is unwieldy. I have the smallest size and it is difficult for the thickener often misses the mark when squeezing it into smaller glasses or cups.

Very convenient for mixing up solutions to drink. No packet opening.Gets a little sticky but just clean up with some water.

My son uses this product because of aspiration issues. It mixes up so well compared to any powder. Directions are clearly stated for thickness you need.
