Definitely helped
After losing 2 grandmother's in 3 months. This definitely was a good book for my girls. A loss is hard for adults and kids really struggle at times. This is a great book!

Greatest book to help understand death
I wish I had this book last summer when my father died in a car accident and my daughter was heart broken. Now 9 months later it still helped us have a beautiful heartfelt meaningful talk. My favorite line was when the sun said that even though you couldn't see it, it was still there. If you have to help a child deal with death, this is the only book you need. I bought soooooooo many

Are You Sad Little Bear?
Death, a diffilcult topic to discuss with your children. Author Rachel RIVETT gives us this inspirational book that inspires discussion with our children on this subject. A wonderful way for a parent and child to bond in a diffilcult time and to start the healing process for both.Janene O'Neil

Sweet but not sure how helpful it is
Sweet but not sure if it’s actually helpful to little ones trying to process or understand feelings about death. Or that it teaches them anything except a few sweet sounding but ultimately a little shallow metaphors, that might even be more confusing than a straightforward conversation about the facts.

Ok for slightly older children-upper primary age maybe
It's fine but a little bit complicated and I'm not sure young children will make all the connections. The story is a bit too ambitious, trying to cover too many concepts.

My tiny grandchildren loved this book
Superb. My tiny grandchildren loved this book. It hit just the right level and explained one of the most difficult concepts in life in an acceptable and interesting way.
