Bubbles & Books - Premium reading and relaxation subscription box: contemporary romance

Came in a cheap looking box or rather it was crammed into a box. The soap was cheap and made me break out, the bath bomb looked like someone had taken a hammer to it, a cheap dollar tree candle in a small glass cup that didn't even smell. And the book? Oh yes, because I've always wanted to read book 2 in a series that I've never read (heavy sarcasm). Over all a waste of money and a disappointment.

I liked the bath products - from companies I could find on Etsy. So went on to purchase more separately from the box.I chose the romance (thriller is more my thing but I wanted to try a different genre). All of the books were very disappointing and badly written. Book that aren’t popular.

Bathes are one of my favorite “me” things to do. This was everything I had hoped for. Looking forward to the next box and book!!

I love the book and all the different bath goodies

The concept of this is perfect, their execution is really bad. Discounted books (line across bottom of pages) and mediocre bath items. No way would I pay $50 a month for this. I’m ‘glad’ I got it for an intro price.

I wish I would love this. It is a great idea. But the books are discount and the bath bombs are 2nd hand on sale from Etsy sellers. I would love this if the items were of brand new and not discounted items. My husband said when I opened it “wow, that looks super cheap. What did you pay?” I didn’t dare tell him. 😞

Not new products for $50. I wanted to like this box, it is a cute idea but they must have gotten too big too fast and chose money over their product. Soaps were new but both books were clearly marked as overprints/second hand. I’d be happy to keep getting this box for $30 max for the 2 book box, that’s all it’s worth. It’s sad because it’s a great idea.

Not worth the money

This box was full of surprises! I purchased as a gift and wish I ha dof gotten it for myself!

Bubbles and Books was exactly what I had hoped for. Great as a gift or as a treat for yourself. When I made a mistake in my order, they kindly fixed my mistake and displayed excellent customer service.

I absolutely love my Bubbles and Books box subscription. Each month I get to look forward to a little surprise that is 95% of the time something I would pick out for myself! I love getting to trial all of these small, handmade bath products that I would totally never find without this subscription! I didn't even know bubble bars existed! Now it's my favorite thing in the world!Such a cool idea and the perfect thing for when I need a break. Also, the customer service has been incredible - one of those pluses from working with a small business is that everything feels so personal. Highly recommend.

I got one book with a Walmart sale sticker on it and some preteen unicorn bath items. Save your money and buy the things you want. This was junk.
