This was a pale shade of tan, almost white, and looked fake a mile away .I am buying real wood only from now on

Initially in the unboxing we were unimpressed. Came ready to assemble and looked unrealistic BUT after having assembling the pieces and installing it in the aquarium, we are pleasantly surprised. Looks good

looks nice but is not real manzanita wood . plastic is supposedly bad for water quality so they should make that more clear that it's not made from the natural stuff that's actually good for your tank

The tree comes in multiple parts that attach to the main trunk of the tree.These pieces are alot lighter and brighter than the rest of the tree.I would say the trunk is a sand color and the branches are closer to yellow with a hint of the trunks color.Beyond that the tree was easy to build

Mines broke :( the screw is broke in half at the base of the weight .

Looks just like the picture. Does come disassembled so you'll have to put it together, but that gives it some customization to fit your needs. The branch tips are easy to trim if they need shortened, but not so fragile that they fall apart while putting together or maintenancing the tank.Only thing is I wish the base was a little shorter so it would hide in my substrate easier but a little extra gravel and live plants covers it well enough. For the size of this tree I'm not suprised it needs a weight like this, but maybe make the base shorter but a little wider (such as to distribute the weight)
