Can this be used for jam?

You probably could, however there isn’t a tight seal on the lids. They are loose. It’s best for quick access seasoning.

Can I put body sugar scrub in it ? or it have to be sealed in container - thank you.

Yes you could. Loose plastic wrap could be placed over the top prior to the lid.

Is this dishwasher safe?

I don’t know but I wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher. I hand wash mine.

WAshing with water can spoil wooden box ?

I would assume so but the wooden pieces shouldn't need washing. Just use a clorox wipe on it.

I love the idea but they are not airtight!

So at first I LOVED this set, using for coffee tea and sugar. However the lids are not airtight so after a couple of weeks the coffee in one jar went completely hard and went bad :( I would only suggest using to serve tea/coffee for events/guests as nothing lasts long inside it (air gets in where the spoon hole is).
