McVities Jaffa Cakes Orange & Cranberry 3 x 10pk

For some time I have been buying Orange and Cranberry cookies from M & S but they have now stopped stocking them. I thought these jaffa cakes might be a good substitute but they are not. There is virtually no taste of cranberries and I honestly don't think they are are as good as the original jaffa cakes.

I am a self confessed jaffaholic and have tried nearly every jaffa cake out there so you don't have to. Nothing like public service eh?Another from the McVities stable with all the traditional virtues of sponge and chocolate associated therewith. The filling is one I had very high expectations for but was sadly let down. Cranberry has a superb tangy zesty taste that would go well with orange but sadly in this jaffa cake it is barely noticeable. These are not bad jaffa cakes, far from it, they're very good, it's just that they are not all that they could be. If I was a teacher marking homework I'd write, 'good effort, try again.'Jaffa score 7/10

Awesome special edition flavour. We all adored them (had to order more after the local supermarket ran out). Sent some to Jaffa loving sibling in Australia.
