These are excellent stands. If you add a swivel release you can store separate from the seat. I like that you can position the stand 2 ways to give you more room on the deck. They are very stable and do not slide thanks to the rubber feet. I would recommend

Super sturdy seat stands.
Super sturdy seat stands. The only problem was that the four holes for mounting did not exactly match the 2 seats I purchased...(Wise Economy Low back Seat) which seemed odd since they are both from the same manufacturer. I had to force the screws into place and was fortunate that the plastic seat base was forgiving enough to accommodate the odd angle of the screws. In the end the stand and the seat are rock solid. I cut off about 3 inches of height and they fit nicely in my 13' Boston Whaler as an extra seating option.

seat bracket u can move anywhere in the boat!
now i can move my boat seats anywhere and any direction for fishing. This is a replacement for the one i lost to the 2020 wildfires.

Makes a good seat platform
I needed a seat platform for the mid section of my boat without trying to make any changes to the deck floor. A post hole for a seat was not the solution. This, with a swivel base and boat seat attached works fine for sitting in place while drifting. Manufacturer does not approve sitting on it while the boat is in motion, and I would agree with that based on the small area the legs make contact with. Wider foot pads would help this issue. The frame is plenty sturdy, and mounting holes line right up with a swivel base or fixed seat mounting.

I love it, it is portable, and really solid.. i weight 280 pounds... this thing is excellent. Expect to pay over 150 bucks CAD for it in a store. This is a steal and shipped right away. perfect height too.
