Power your Raspberry Pi's - or any micro-USB powered devices - over ethernet with this IEEE802.3af compliant PoE splitter/adapter. Just hook the splitter's outputs to your device's power and ethernet inputs. Use standard cat5 or cat6 ethernet cable between your PoE switch/end-span and this splitter's input. *if you only need to power a single device via single ethernet cable up to ~20m you might consider using our cheaper "passive" Raspberry Pi PoE cable set instead

Works to power a Raspberry Pi 2
I use this to power a Rasberry Pi 2 running Pi-Hole. It would not work with some of my Ethernet cables (no power to the Pi) so at first I thought it was broken. But I swapped cables out and it works just fine, just try a new cable if the initial one doesn't work.

Great, works just as advertised to rip the POE out of my Ethernet cable and power the pi. I'm using it with a Pi 2 and it even powers the camera and a small overclock (which an el-cheapo usb supply I was using had trouble with).I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Works well on an RPI1/2.
Works well on an RPI1/2.Will need to be upgraded to 2.5A to support the RPI3 and other low power boards that need more than 2Amps.I will use it to power a Raspberry Pi2/3 in the attic running Piaware 1090ES and 978UAT and a GPS GPIO unit for NTP.

AWESOME.
Oh yeah, these are the bomb. I have it running my Raspberry Pi DHCP/DNS server for my network, tucked away in my wall. AWESOME.

It's sturdy and durable
This little piece of hardware made my life so much easier. It does exactly as described. It's sturdy and durable. I used it to both power a Raspberry Pi model 3 as well as provide a network connection. I plugged a POE cat5 cable into this, then plugged the attached micro USB to power and the attached Ethernet adapter to the network adapter on Pi and bada-bing-bada boom, I had power and network connection.

Does the job!
It works perfectly with my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. I'm not sure what networking equipment we're using, but I haven't had an issue with power or network connectivity yet. Its been running strong for about 2 months now.

Great alternative to independent power supply
As expected, it works as intended. Did see some power fluctuation on long term connections

Great with Pi model B (original rev1) and Pi 3
Works great with my Raspberry Pi and a Netgear GS108PEv2 PoE switch.I plugged it in and it just works. Nice and simple.Have tested with two different Pis.1) Original Pi Model B (now 4 years old, from the time when the Model B had 256 Meg of RAM). The PoE splitter powered the Pi and SD card and a Pi Camera.2) New Pi 3. The PoE splitter powered the Pi and micro SD card, the Pi Camera and a USB optical mouse. In both tests the Pi was connected to a mains powered TFT monitor via a HDMI cable and there are none of the earth loop problems reported with other makes of PoE splitter. Also would like to thank the seller. The seller is not just an importer. The seller is an electronics engineer who know what they are selling and was able to answer some detailed technical questions before I made the purchase.Very pleased with the purchase.

Works great!
Works perfect with my Raspberry Pi, and so far hasn't cut out whilst capturing photos every 20s for a timelapse.I have this connected via a 20M cat5 cable, with PoE provided from a netgear switch with PoE ports. Please note this product is for a 48V DC supply from a compatible switch or injector. If you just want to run 5V over the cable then you need the passive adapter as mentioned in the description. Will definately purchase another one for my second Pi.

Five Stars
Works very well to power a USB device or charge a tablet or phone with network passthrough

Works perfectly at quite a distance
I'm glad I was finally able to have better cable management for my Raspberry PIs, as having pairs of cables running all over my flat was getting messy, and the number of USB adapters I was needing was getting silly!
