Should be titled "Suggests and thoughts on Training"
The author offers only a brief outline of dog needs. The book is written without verbs or helpful how to tips. It was not worth the price.

It's ok.
Thought it would have some images to help show what should be done.

Great Book On Training Your Guard Dog
I found this to be the perfect introductory book to training a guard dog. I've been thinking about a long time about getting a dog and this book talked about everything from why you need a guard dog to the best breeds to get and great strategies to train your guard dog. Overall this is a good resource to have on hand.

Ordering Ebook or paperback???
I thought I paid for a complete book but only received something with piecemeal information and implying I had purchased an electronic book. Sadly I am ignorant as to how to complete the download process and had not done so (which the order thanked me for doing) Either I did something wrong or the process is flawed. Customer service seems to be looking into the problem toward amicable resolution. I am optimistic that this book should achieve a 5 star rating, based on the fragment of written material I received.

A 29 PAGE PAMPLET IN LARGE "EZ TO READ" PRINT
CAME ACROSS THIS AND COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WOULD TRY TO EVEN SELL SUCH A PAMPHLET AS A BOOK. THIS IS A PRINT FORM OF SOMETHING APPARENTLY PREVIOUSLY FOUND ON LINE -- INCLUDING SPOTS WHERE IT INDICATES, "CLICK HERE."WHAT "INFORMATION" CONTAINED INSIDE IS REMARKABLY VAGUE AND OF THE NATURE THAT IT COULD BE WRITTEN BY A 12 YEAR OLD WHO HAD AN INTEREST BUT NO ACTUAL EXPERIENCE WITH DOGS.

this is a good starter book
If you are someone looking to train a puppy, or adopt a dog, as a guard or attack dog, this is a good starter book. If you implement only the training techniques listed in this book, you'll have a fair amount of success, but if you want a highly trained guard, or attack, dog, you'll need to continue pursuing MUCH more information. No single book will give you all you need to know--unless it's a VERY big book. Should you study more and become a great G.D, or A.D., trainer, you'll first need the basics, like the material in this book. The only thing I feel should've been covered more in detail is the relationship (which, in fairness the author does cover) between you and your dog. I say this in reference to the mindset you need to have concerning your dog. Being in command is not just "Me Master, You Dog", it's an internal love and respect for your dog, and the 'knowing' that he/she will be most happy, best adjusted, and most comfortable by you establishing that you are in charge, but you'll care for him/her to any end needed...THEN you have the dog's 100% respect, love, and obedience.Overall, a must read in the beginning of your journey!

Printed softcover book
The book is nice, but all the links are for a "digital copy".In the softcover book I received, there is no way to access these links. So, not sure why you would sell this on Amazon.Any way to get the pdf with links? Would be appreciated.I would recommend not selling digital books in softcover.

Waste of money and time
A bit harsh review but no other choice. its Just waste of money and time. Nothing about training at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Worst Dog-Training book ever
By far the worst book on dog training I ever had to endure. Any 4th-grader with a basic skill of doing research on Google would have come up with a more useful guide than this "book".The Author definitely needs to take some courses on writing - I mean the basics of it.I never write reviews, but this was such a joke and waste of my money - I had to warn everyone to think twice before wasting $10.00.The author offered a bunch of other "survival"-skill books and I'm wondering how useful those will be?
