Good upgrade RAM
Used this to upgrade my desktop all-in-one Lenovo. The manufacturer wanted $138 for the upgrade. This was substantially less and works fine. You don't need to buy OEM parts at five times the cost when Crucial RAM is perfectly fine and reliable.

Great value... M uch needed speedup for my laptop
The RAM was as promised: DDR4 SODIMM 16GB per stick. It took a total of 10 minutes to install and reboot. It passed the MEMCHECK utility with no errors. I ran the memcheck 3 times. If there is a bad memory spot on a chip, that series of checks should have caught it.My laptop now boots up in 4 seconds, ready to work. (I also upgraded to an excellent SSD SASA hard drive [Samsung])I'm very happy. This laptop was taking 20 minutes to be work ready with the old slow memory and hard drive. The slow boot is a known problem for Windows 10 if you have the old, spinning SATA HDDs.

Great investment for good gaming
Nowadays 8gb ram just doesn't cut it if you look to have stable and smooth performance on games like warzone, apex, or even halo. That's where this RAM stick comes in handy. 16gb of RAM does perfect on games like apex and warzone. I've seen about a 20 fps boost on RAM consuming games like warzone. Plus, this RAM stick was super easy to install in my Nitro 5 laptop. So I think that if you are still hooked on 8gb RAM, you should upgrade to 16gb RAM for a couple bucks with this RAM stick.

Easy to install; laptop picked up that it was 8 GB right away.
The package was concerningly small, though it was pretty easy to install. The video for installation didn't come when it was delivered (I'd expected an email to be sent with a video), but I had experience going into my HP 15 laptop before.Just unscrewed 10 of the same screw: 4 on the underside, 2 beneath the detatchable battery, and 4 beneath the rubber pads. Once unscrewed, I slid the disk drive away, and looked for a long rectangle. I pulled the two secure arms to the side and it popped out. I inserted the new ram by clickingnit into place, rescrewed the screws, and powered it back on. I checked the System Information app and sure enough, the physical installed memory went from 4 GB to 8 GB.I wouln't say that it makes booting up some apps faster, but once I'm in them, they seem to run quite well comapred to using 4 GB of RAM. I would certainly recommend Crucial to a friend. Their price was about $8 less than other sellars, so it was certainly worth it.

Worked flawlessly for 4 years
As of the time that I'm writing this, it has been about 4 years since I bought this RAM stick. This RAM stick has survived and continued to work flawlessly for all the time that I have used it in my laptop. I'm only writing this review because I recently upgraded my RAM from this same vendor, and wanted to share that my previous purchase (this one) worked flawlessly for what I needed it to.
