Yes- pockets are a good size as well for keys and small coin purse.

what is the center back length?

On my 3X it is 26" from base of collar to base of hem.

It sort of depends on how loose you want it to be. I'm 5'4" and weigh 138 and I bought size medium. I don't like my clothes tight and the medium is perfect.
