A Magical Read
I personally found this to be a delightfully magical read. And yes, I perfectly understand the ironic cheesiness of calling a novel featuring two uber hot magician twin brothers “magical”, but you know what? I don’t care. This novel features a female lead who labels herself as slightly chubby, and she has absolutely zero confidence in her ability to keep a man satisfied in the bedroom. Um, I’m sorry, but is this thing about me??? Well, turns out no, because I’m certainly not friends with two unbelievably hot twins who would drop everything to help her out, including help her learn how to please a man in the bedroom. Oh well, a girl can dream. Anyway, I could personally really identify with Melina, and how her lack of confidence with men makes her hesitant to take risks or go after what she really wants in life. And what Melina really wants is one of her best friends since childhood, Rhys. But she’s convinced he could never fall for someone as plain-looking as her, so she’s always settled in her relationships with other men. When yet another boyfriend breaks up with her because of her lack of passion in the bedroom, she’s determined to act the scientist she is by researching how to keep a man satisfied. Her heart wants Rhys, but because she fears his rejection she instead turns to his twin brother, Max. Shocked by her request, Max initially wants to say no, but also doesn’t want her running off to some random hookup. He says yes to Melina, but secretly devises a plan to make sure his brother is the one she takes to the bedroom knowing that the two have had crushes on each other for years. Cheesy premise? Sure! And yet, it shockingly comes together by blending cuteness, sexiness, and the search for confidence. What can I say? I finished it in one sitting. As the premise of the novel was developing, and we started to see the direction it was going in terms of Max deceiving Melina to sleep with his brother, my immediate thought was: “well, how the hell is he gonna pull this one off?” After all, Melina supposedly knows these guys better than anyone, and never has any trouble telling them apart. They’ve even tried to trick her a few times in the past with no success. However, I must say the way this all came together was comedically cheesy, yet clever enough where it actually had a sense of reality to it.First off: alcohol!!!! A tried and true classic. Melina is understandably nervous about bedding one of her best friends, so she indulges in a bit of liquid courage as she’s waiting in “Max’s” hotel room wearing nothing but her intimates. It’s not enough to get her plastered to the point of concern or indecency, but it’s enough to make her relaxed, and maybe skip over some of the finer distinguishing features between brothers. Second: her glasses! When Melina first propositioned Max with the idea of helping her out in the bedroom, she makes a flippant remark about how everything’s a blur without her glasses. This makes Max’s ears perk up, and he insists that when they first do it she must keep her glasses off, claiming they’re too ugly to behold. Enter Rhys who is excited beyond belief that Melina seems to finally be offering herself to him, and the rest is history. This book mainly explores the sexual awakening of Melina, and how Rhys manages to bring out the passionate side of her. This means the book is pretty sex heavy, so I could see how some might find it boring. However, for me it was the opposite as we see an almost poetic mirroring of both Melina and Rhys on their journey to overcome their own lack of confidence. For Melina, she lacks confidence in her sexual abilities and her own looks. She’s convinced that if only she could learn what a man likes in the bedroom she could finally keep a guy around long enough to marry and have children with. She’s also never acted upon her feelings for Rhys because of these same reasons, as well as because she thinks her looks aren’t on the same level as his former girlfriends. Only by getting involved in this “experiment” with Rhys does he show her that she’s always been beautiful to him, and that she already possess all the passion she’d ever need in a relationship, as long as she can find a man who can bring it out in her.At the start of the novel it seems as though Melina is the only one with confidence issues, but it doesn’t take long for us to realize that hottie Rhys has them too. He too lacks confidence in his relationship with Melina, worrying that she simply sees him as interchangeable with his twin brother. This is especially compounded by the fact that Max and Melina shared a kiss years before, not to mention Melina first approached Max instead of Rhys in her research on male pleasure. If he puts himself out there and lets his true feelings known, will she reject him? Or can Melina make him believe that it’s always been him? Such an interesting dynamic.

Bedding the Wrong Brother (Bedding the Bachelors Book 1)
This was a free download from Amazon. I loved it. Melina Parker was childhood friends with the Dalton twins. Their family was into magic acts. Melina was about the only one who could tell the difference between Max an Rhys. She was in love with Rhys but loved Max too only if a different way. She dreamed of a white picket fence and children. Due to an incident that occurred years ago she though in love with Rhys spent time with Max when they were not on the road. She became an etymologist and worked with bugs. She was also a little heavyset. And it bothered her. Plus during school she was four eyes because of her glasses. Then she had a bad break up with a boyfriend who told her she was lousy in bed and couldn't bring out the passion. She set about a plan to ask Max to teach her all she needed to know to please a man. Told him of her heartbreak. At first Max thought she was joking but then realized she was serious. He agreed but had some stipulations. She had to dump the glasses and wear certain clothes. She drank some alcohol while waiting for Max to come and without her glasses she couldn't see and Max had actually given her Rhys room key. So the combination of being unable to see and somewhat inebrieated didn't realize Rhys was there even though he called her Ladybug, it didn't sink in he was Rhys not Max. Rhys went ahead even though he didn't know what was up here she was almost naked and in his bed. Ht did take her and she spoke Rhys name during the heat and passion of their lovemaking. In the morning when she woke up sober she called him Max and then while she was in the bathroom crying and waiting for him to leave Max called him and told him what was going on. He was upset and still his desire for Melina was still there so he proposed that he would teach her what she needed to know to please a man. But it would take a weekend. She was to go with him and follow orders. He did teach her that it wasn't her, but the stupid Idiot boyfriend who wasn't able to bring the passion out of her. One thing led to another and she discovered that she had it in her to please a man but did he have it in him to bring it out of her. Rhys told her he loved her and she didn't think he did. She had been destroyed by past experiences and even what had happened ten years ago. When his current assistant quit the show it was doomed and the act that he intended on doing to win a contract that would give them a permanent show on a ship. Melina was so in love with Rhys she volunteered to help them by being his assistant for the performance. This was their way into the big time. And having a steady stage on which to act and it was important to them. Shy Melina agreed to go with them. She was getting along with the crew but still felt somewhat like she didn't fit. Then before the big performance someone used an ax on the piece of equipment to be used for that part of the act. I could not be fixed over night so since both Max and Rhys said they did not need her she left and went home. But somehow or another she ended up talking to her mother and her mother listened to the whole story and set her straight. She found out her mother had given up her acting carreer to be with her dad. She wanted him more than the passion of acting. Melina decided maybe she could give up the homebody life to travel with Rhys and maybe they could compromise to be together. She went back and they did get married. Rhys had made up his mind if she couldn't adjust to his life style he would give it up and live hers. Everything worked out. The story is meant for adult audiances containing sexual scenes. There was a lot of truth to the story and I loved it. You will too. She really had not bedded the wrong brother after all.

A nice short romance
A straight forward short romance, with a predictable outcome, although the plot was consistent in the plot for the main characters, some of the background points re friends and the twin brother of the male main character were rushed and poorly explained. There was quite a bit of sexual content in this book, which might not suit all readers, the exploration of the sexuality of the female main character was a key theme in this book. A nice story overall.

1*
Pretty bad. The female lead is awful, in fact just about everybody is awful. I also had a problem with the storyline. Didn't like this one.

Really enjoyed
Really enjoyed reading this book. Rhys and Max are identical twins and Melina has always had a thing for Rhys since she was a teenager - one problem - she gets on easier with Max.Having been rejected by three previous lovers her confidence is at a very low place and she seeks out help to learn what satisfies a man.Really good book - glad I found this on Amazon and will be reading the rest in this series.

Loved it!!!
I started to read this book last night with the understanding that I would only read 2 chapters and then bed, It was a school night after all. So at 03.45 and 9 chapter in with only 3 hours sleep before work I finally put the book down, I was a great read I like all the caracthers. Maybe the situation wasn't the most realistic but I didn't care. I'll be getting the next installment ASAP

Will she know the difference
Great read from start to finish, Will she realise she made a pack with Max but bedded Rhys the love of her life. Will she admit to him that she loves him, will he admit it to her? Read their story how they both have reconceived ideas of their lives mapped out before them, how will they change for each other? will they change for each other? can they make their love work................
