A few months ago I purchased the adults' version of the Vankyo MatrixPad S8. That tablet has held up well, so I decided to get this version for my kids. This tablet is great and I have had no problems. The case is a nice bonus: it's chunky, but lightweight. There seems to be a plastic screen protector preinstalled.Here are the differences between the kids' S8 and adults':The kids version has the Kidoz app installed. This app takes less than 2 MB storage. I wasn't able to uninstall it, but I could disable it instead. Good enough for me. In contrast, the adult S8 was just stock Android.The kids' S8 came with a few cartoon animal wallpapers instead of the default Android wallpapers. The adults' S8 just had the generic Android wallpapers. I find the kids' wallpapers quite cute and lovely, and actually prefer it to the stock Android wallpapers.I loaded the tablet up with some free and low-cost educational apps. (I suggest Khan Academy Kids and Starfall.) My kids are happy with it. I may get another tablet from this manufacturer since the kids are fighting over it!

My son is in speech therapy and the therapist suggested a kids tablet to help.We looked at a bunch of options and it came down between the kindle and this one.The kindle does not have the Google play store so we would have been limited on available apps. Because of that we chose this tablet.That was the best decision we could have made! This tablet is amazing. It's easy to use, my toddler figured it out immediately, and it has a long battery life.It's been a few weeks and he is starting to sound out the letters as they are repeated to him during game play.He also has started saying apple!!This tablet is also durable, he's 2 and has dropped it a few times but the case is so strong it's well protected.10/10 would recommend this!

I bought this for my 3 year old kid, eventhough I don't give it to her for using it whole day I give her whenever I'm attending my online classes, thats good enough to keep her distracted while I have exams and classes. Its a big relief for me to be free from noisy TV background sound in our small apartment. I personally don't agree to giving tablets to a 3 year old but once in a while I find it to be a good distraction, especially during this time were sending her to daycare is impossible.The best thing about this is the hard case, I think this will not break even if you throw it hard ( not face down) , but it will be a good if you can put a screen cover.The resolution is surprisingly good for this price. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as an android phone, but slow processing.As of now I'm using only the coloring app where the kids can choose their color and drop it in desired areas and the icons are pretty big for a 3 year old to understand.I haven't used it until the battery was completely empty. But uses for good 1-1:30 hours everyday during my class.Its pretty lightweight and has got a hoop behind which is pretty big to carry on my kids wrist and also can be used as a stand. The color is absolutely lovely and my kid wait to get this in her hand during my classes.Will update more in the future.Hope you found this helpful. Thank you and have a good day.

This is a good tablet for the price. The layout is just like the Samsung Galaxy tab that my daughter was using before. So if you're an Android person, you'll have no problems navigating this. We were looking to replace the Samsung Galaxy tablet because it was old and getting really slow and she was getting frustrated with how long her ABC Mouseapp was taking to load and we were too because we paid for the app and she wasn't playing it as much. This Vankyo tablet has a faster loading speed but not as much as I would like. I compared the loading speeds of the ABC Mouse app on the tablet to the app on my 2 year old phone and my phone was still faster at loading the app despite this being a brand new tablet. Keep in mind, we got this tablet mainly for her to use the ABC Mouse app on but she does use other apps on it and those all work and load just fine.So that brings me to the Kidoz app. This app comes preloaded on the tablet. The pictures I added are of the Kidoz app and show some of what you will see in the app. The pictures I took are before I changed any settings. You can go into each category (videos, games, websites) and choose which things you want or don't want them to have access to which is nice because our daughter is 3 and doesn't need access to all that stuff. You can also make it to where they cannot leave the app and even after rebooting, it will return to that app.We've had this tablet for about 4 months now with no issues. The battery lasts about 4 to maybe 5 hours with non-stop use. I do wish you could make the screen a little brighter for when you're in the car or outside with it.There's one issue that could use improvement and that's not with the tablet itself but with the case. The handle/stand is kinda difficult to get out. My daughter can't do it and even I struggle to pull it out (I've added a picture to kinda show what I'm talking about). It would work better if you could actually get your finger underneath the handle to pull it out. Once out, the handle/stand can be turned to however you need it.Overall, it's a nice tablet!

I am very happy with my purchase. This tablet was very easy to set up and the Kidoz interface is very intuitive. My daughter had a tablet with a safe environment before, but I was always running into issues when I would try to add her favorite apps like YouTube Kids and Khan Academy Kids. However with this tablet I was able to add these apps without any problem.I also love the fact that this tablet comes with the Google Play store, it makes for much more variety. The storage is great at 32GB as well. It comes with a case and stand included which is a major plus.I think this tablet gives you the most bang for your buck!

Delivered in good condition. The case and ring stand are sturdy. Safe mode and extra safe mode options are good so we can restrict the kids to stay only inside the kidoz app. The touch is not so sensitive which I think good for the kids fingers. Performance wise so far good. Worth for the price.
