Gioteck EX-05S Universal High Definition Stereo Headset (PS4/PS3/Xbox360/Mac/PC DVD)

Alright, let me give you a breakdown of my experience with Gioteck headsets. I first bought the EX-05 and it lasted me about two-three years and it was damn good. After long enough it crapped out and stopped working, but my warranty had been up for whatever reason and they refused to do anything so I shopped around for a new Gioteck product and found the EX-05s. It's been a couple of months since purchase and its microphone has failed. I woke up one morning and the microphone wouldn't pick up any sounds other than tapping on the little control box.Now, here's a breakdown of my rating:Comfort: 3/5Metal bars are uncomfortable and made me wear the headset all wonky sometimes, I preferred the EX-05. However, the ear cups are superb. They fit nice and snug around my ears but not to the point where they're trapped in there.Sound Quality: 5/5I've never owned a super high quality headset with major acclaim, so thus far these headsets are the best I've ever had.Durability: 4/5The EX-05 pooped out after a reasonable time for the price I paid, but the S fell from my graces earlier than I was hoping/expected.Microphone Quality: 5/5Never had complaints from my friends and I felt it was a quite good quality.Support: 1/5Their support is mediocre;"Oh did you open it? It looks like you may have tried to open it, your warranty is void.""Oh you bought it a more than a year ago? Nope."Real friendly, huh?Truthfully, I'll never buy a product from Gioteck again and I'm waiting for their support to get back to me. However, these headsets are pretty alright in my opinion, but don't go in expecting them to be these fantastic crafts of grandeur.

These are good they are way better than my old headsets. More people should try it.It also has good bass quality.

Unfortunately, I could never get the mic to work on this product and I tried 3 different sets. If you find one where the mic works, then the its probably a good headset for such a low price.

I highly suggest that no one buys this headset. It is too tight on the head and the mic hardly picks up any sound what so ever. You have to be talking very loud for anyone to even hear you. If you are interested in this headset cause of the headband part then I suggest that you buy the previous model (Gioteck EX-05) It is more comfortable and the mic picks up good sound. If that does not matter to you then I would suggest to buy the Turtle Beach X12 headset. It's comfortable, you can use it on your computer as well as XBOX and the sound is better. They are 60 dollars at Best Buy but 40 at Walmart. So I used the price match and got a 3 year warranty on mine for 9 bucks. Much more worth it.

The headset works great, don't get me wrong, but the weight is a bit much and since I have no hair, the metal bar across the top of the headset hurts my head. I wrap a bandanna around my head and it works just fine. Others that have used it (with hair) have no complaints. If this ever breaks, I will buy another one just like it!

This isn't worth $140 device (as the MRSP would suggest), or even $40. However, it is good for the $20 sale. Sound quality is decent and mic is good, but it gets very uncomfortable sitting on your head for more than twenty minutes. The steel bands cut into the top of your head and you need to move the headphones around for relief. I recommend the Logitech mics over this: get this mic if it is on sale and you're looking for something that's cheap.

Good headset for the price but it's cord shorts out like barely after a month of use. Voice chat becomes impossible but game sound is still possible. Mine might have been defective but the quality of the Mic was definitely worth the 20$

Ein in dieser Preiskategorie wirklich gutes Gaming Headset. Der Sound ist klar und sauber, über den Stufenlosen drehregeler kann man hervorragend die Lautstärke sowohl vom Game Sound als auch des Voice Chat einstellen.Bei Spielen wie Battlefield oder Fifa fühlt man sich mitten auf dem Schlachtfeld bzw. direkt im Stadion (wenn man den Kommentar ausstellt).Der Komfort ist stets gut, das Headset wird nicht zu schwer auf dem Kopf, der Bügel kann aber nach mehreren Stunden spielen leicht am Kopf drücken, aber nur an den Rändern. Für Gamer die damit weniger ein Problem haben, nicht dauerhaft Zocken oder beim Zocken eine Mütze tragen wie ich und dazu nicht viel Geld ausgeben wollen ist dieses Headset genau das richtige.

The sound from it is good, the microphone sensitive and picks up noise clearly.They're comfortable to wear (albeit a little too hot in summer, but I can forgive that), and they look good. Easy to set up for various systems.So, why the meh review score?The headset comes with a fundamental flaw with it's wiring, making it break with usage. It has a flat melded cable coming from the volume control to the headpiece, and the headpiece is moulded in such a way to put stress on the wires causing them to break. Because the cable is designed like it is, it can't be fixed - so basically, you've got a very limited life on these. For the price you pay for these, it's not awful, but other brands will give you a longer lifespan on their products. If it wasn't for this flaw in the design, I'd give this headset a 5* review and would use Gioteck a lot more, but I'd rather have a more expensive set that wouldn't cost me more in the long run.

I love this headset, It's very loud...On PC... you can make the bass on it amazing...Cheap :P very long lasting headset...===========For gamers!!!===========Picks up footsteps in games like...CS:GOCod.good detail on music.Over all i love this headset :P very good music quality..works perfectly on all consoles and pc...The bass is amazing. Loud as anything.Good for movies :PMic is amazing... picks up basically everything...Well worth the money :)
