Where was FINIS in the 80's??
I grew up swimming competitively and just recently came back to the pool after more than 10 years away (it takes that long to clear the excess chlorine from the system!). I picked up a cap, a suit, and a pair of Speedo goggles and hit the lanes--only to find myself adjusting and re-adjusting my ill-fitting goggles for most of my pool time. Maybe Speedo has lost quality, or maybe I was more tolerant in my youth, but either way, I needed to have a good fit that wouldn't leave my eyes red, puffy, and ringed at the end of my workout. I picked out the Finis because I liked the smoke lenses and they had good reviews...and I am not disappointed! These are the most comfortable goggles I've ever worn, and I didn't have the excuse of foggy, water-logged eyepieces to stop every other lap (needless to say, I'm getting a better swim in). Oh, and I don't look haggard and red-eyed after my swim, so I feel more comfortable leaving the pool to go back to work, or out with friends.

Great for swim team athletes
The only goggle brand I’ll buy. They fit my daughter without leaks. She uses them multiple times a week, the last pair we had lasted years.

Finis swim goggles
At first I liked these but after having them for a few months the frame is discoloring which makes them look dingy so I would not order again.

They work fine, similar to other goggles
These suction on to my face very easily, without tightening the straps a lot. I thought that would be great because I thought that would keep water out of my eyes and I would not have the racoon pressure rings around my eyes that are caused by other goggles. However, to keep water out of my eyes when swimming, I do have to tighten the straps quite a bit and still end up with racoon rings. That said, the racoon rings are not as severe or long lasting with the finis goggles as they are with some of the other brand goggles that I have.

Not only did they work great the first time on race day
My old goggles started falling apart before my big 70.3 in 2016 and in that pre-race panic I picked up a pair of Finis goggles from a vendor at the race. Not only did they work great the first time on race day, I used them during my 2-3 times per week swims for the next year and a half with no problems. They started to get a little gross from all the open water swimming but never broke or lost their elasticity. Unfortunately I lost them somewhere so I had to buy these! They are great, comfortable goggles and last forever if you do not lose them 😊

Not comfortable/leak
I was very hopeful when I got these swim goggles based on other people‘s reviews but my experience with them has not been a good one. They leak and are not comfortable for me at all. Unfortunately by the time you figure out that they’re really not gonna work for you the return or exchange period has ended. A fellow swimmer suggested Aqtivaqua goggles which I just received today am I gotta tell you they were comfortable right off the bat, no crazy adjustment needed and we’re so comfortable to wear. If you order these, I hope you have better luck than I did.!

Best for smaller head
The frame is for a smaller head. Seals well but very uncomfortable.

Googles other uses
I didn't buy these googles for their typical use. I use a bypac machine and no matter how well my face mask fits there is always some air that blows on my face. It was making my eyes very dry by morning. I have had these googles for over a week now. They totally block the air from blowing in my eyes and my eyes are more moist now. I would recommend others use them for this purpose as well. While watching one of my tv shows I saw two of the main characters wearing googles while cutting up an onion. What a great idea! They are worth every penny to me.
