I came back 3 years later to buy this knife again!
I bought one of these in 2017 for myself. I found it to be a pretty great all-around knife if you’re ok with exchanging utility of use for the inconvenience of a bulky, large-ish, fixed blade knife. It’s inexpensive enough that you can really put it to work without fear. A friend of ours really dug it, so I gifted him mine. I’ve been missing that knife for a couple years, so I ordered and just received a new one. I’m pretty pleased overall with this knife. It’s heavy in the way you’d want a tool like this to be. It comes very sharp and holds an edge pretty well. Handle is sturdy and pretty, but the pins have some edges as does the spine of the blade through the handle which could be annoying. It’s an inexpensive Chinese knife that foots the bill really well dollar-for-dollar in my experience.

Most comfortable knife I ever put on my belt !
This is a great hunting or fishing knife! Yes, the handle is somewhat small, however after putting it on my belt. I realized that is part of what makes this such a great knife. It rides on Your belt like it is not even there. The smaller handle unlike the normal large handle does not stick out and make it bulky while You are wearing it. Yet it is not so small that it is not fully useful while in hand. In other words it is a trade off, but it also makes this the most comfortable knife of this type I have ever worn. Yes it has some minor flaws that only become apparent .......when VERY closely..... scrutinized. None are noticeable during normal handling without over eye balling. Mine came sharp enough to shave forearm hair with. I feel You must consider these faults along with the price You are paying to be fair. I will gladly take these with this price without complaint. Make no mistake this is a comfortable, sharp, useful knife at a GREAT price. I will order several for gifts this year. Also the sheathe is nice, and I love how the snap is operated from front to rear(to unsnap). That really makes it easy to unsheathe while on Your belt. I also rubbed it with canola (cooking) oil and a paper towel and it made the sheathe look fantastic! Pull the trigger on this one.

Good knife for the price
Good knife for the price. The polished blade looks very nice as do the wooden handles. Well balanced and feels good in hand. The wooden handles and leather sheath gives it a classic "old school" look and feel. It came sharp enough out of the box that I didn't feel it was necessary to put a better edge on it. Perfect size for hunting, camping and hiking. The bad is that it's made in China so the craftsmanship in sub-par. The wood handles look very nice but are not aligned perfectly with the tang and there are some slight grind marks visible on the bade. The minor imperfections don't take away from the fact that it's a nice looking solid, multipurpose, functional knife. Well worth the price. I originally planned to use this as a beater knife but I've grown to like it so I think I will take good care of it and keep it with my more expensive knifes.

great value.
recently purchased a number of knives with a very specific criteria. no "tactical", no paracord, no giant bowie, no folders, just a nice sized, natural handle bush knife, for CHEAP. all were in the $10-16 range. this was one of them. to be honest, not the best knife made. no, it wont contend with a $300 custom knife, but for under $20 this is a lot of knife. nice fit and finish, came sharp, didnt really punish them, but in the limited amount of trials i gave the blade seemed to hold a decent edge. at the end of the day, id take 20 of these over one $300 knife hands down. actually, id just get one and spend the other $285 on something else. and for the record. im giving this same review to all 8 of the knives i purchased for this "experiment". all seemed to hold edges well, some better than others, the fit and finish was better on some than on others, but easily acceptable on all, and all well worth the few dollars they cost. ** addendum to this knife only, imo, this one had the nicest sheath of the bunch. dosent affect the function of the knife any, but if its a concern to you, this is probably the budget knife you want.

The best part about this knife is the price
The best part about this knife is the price. there isn't a lot of great craftsmanship that went into putting this knife together The overall assmbly is a bit sloppy and mine even had some surface rust in the grooves at the top of the blade on both sides. The sheath is also just barely functional. I can remove my knife from the sheath even without unsnapping the retention button. Finally the blade was not honed very well either. This knife isn't completely hopeless though. If you don't mind putting a new edge on the blade, modify the sheath or possibly make a new one, and are not too hung up on cosmetics, this knife can be a good bargain work horse for you. Once I re-honed it and removed the rust spots, this knife works great and because it was so inexpensive, i don't feel bad about abusing the heck out of it. It holds an edge well under abuse and it can't get any uglier than it was than I received it so its become by go to knife for dirty jobs. It could benefit from a slightly larger handle but if you have smaller hands then it might be comfortable for you. I prefer a larger grip, particularly from my fixed blade knives and this one is a tiny bit too small for my liking.

Completely worth the buy
When I was looking through Amazon for a fixed blade to keep on my person, this one stood out from the rest. Let's start with the blade. SHARP, SHARP, SHARP is all I can say. I started whittling staves in my backyard immediately out of box. In addition to its sharpness, the blade is wonderfully balanced. One point I forgot to mention is its weight. For a knife of its size, I'd say it weighs a pretty fair amount and I like that. It makes the balance more solid. Finally, the sheath. Believe it or not its actually a very sturdy case. My one qualm with this knife, the only problem, is in the way that the sheath was made. A lot of fixed blade sheaths have a slot for the blade and then a few inches of leather with the buckle to latch it down somewhere in the middle of the handle. This knife, however, clips directly under the bolster. This causes the handle to stick up just a bit more than I'd like. Overall, though, this knife is a solid 5/5

Good weight. Its a cheap knife with some flaws ...
A birthday gift to myself. Not too big not too small. Good weight. Its a cheap knife with some flaws but you get what you paid for. I like the style and it seems to hold a good edge. Make sure to strop the knife and it will be a fine looking and functioning knife to wear everyday. I love the leather sheath. Nice color, smells like my baseball glove when I was a kid, lol! Handle is wood. the bolts that secure the handle had some burrs, came off easliy with a file. Other than that I'm not too sure I would put much stress on the blade. I doubt I will be batoning any wood with it. I have a gerber ultimate pro survival knife for heavy use, this will be my everyday straight edge.

Awesome knife, great buy!
This is a incredible knife for the price and quality. I have been a carrier of fixed blades for many years, as I spend 1000s of hours a year riding a Harley on the open road and never know what I will encounter. A good tool is a necessity. I have tried out many styles and brands and am very impressed with this knife. This knife is of good size, but not too big to carry. The quality is great, 440 Stainless (same as a Buck), full tang, with a very sharp edge out of the box, with a standard quality leather sheath with a handle snap. A nice thing about the sheath is the snap is low so the wearer's shirt can slide behind the handle of the knife, keeping it exposed and legal for carry (in CA anyway). The only downside is that the sheath doesn't come with a inner slice guard, so the quick handed may damage it if not careful. In summary, the price and the quality make this an incredible knife and I am 100% happy with my purchase.

Gran coltello
Eccellente coltello, dalle giuste dimensioni e pregevole fattura, acciaio di qualità. Buona impugnatura.

Magnifico cuchillo tipo cazador

Costo contenuto e coltello ben fatto. Lo si sente pure dal peso che non è fatto con materiali scadenti. E pure ben affilato
