STAY AWAY!!! SAVE YOUR CLOTHES!
RUN AWAY!!!!! This is absolute GARBAGE!!!! this should not be allowed on the market! I ran a load in the dryer, a load of my daughter's clothes. She's 5, and lives in leggings and a t shirt. So absolutely nothing heavy! It was a medium size load, low heat. I pulled the clothes out when the cycle was done. Examined the load, great dog hair improvement! I'm a busy mom of 2 distance learning. So I ran another load. And tossed the clothes in a basket, and kept going on my day. This morning I took a shirt out of the basket for my daughter, shirt looked great felt great, sweet these things worked! NOPE!!!! Within 5 minutes of wearing her shirt my daughter kept saying ouch and pulling at her shirt. I went and looked, TINY PIECES OF THE BALL BROKE OFF!!!!!! There were pieces stuck into the fabric, like splinters!!! They were constantly poking her! I have spent all day seeing what clothes I can salvage. Because as you pull them out they are ruining the clothes depending on the material. They are so sharp that while looking for them I've poked myself and ended up bleeding. It's taking a headlamp, tweezers and inch by inch search to find them all!!!RUN AWAY!

Great Idea - Poor Materials
I waited until I had used these hair removal dryer balls at least 3 times. I have a set of the very small ones which have Velcro types hooks on the exterior but they are only about as large as a cherry. These were the size of a very small orange and I thought they would be better. The idea of the size was good but the material they are made out of is not the harder type plastic. These are a soft foam with texturing on the exterior which catches the hair. However, the material is so fine that the heat starts to break up the texturing and you will end up with black pieces of foam/plastic in your lint trap and within your dryer bin. Based on this, I would not recommend them at this time until they refine the material to handle heat better. [FYI:I was using them only on a medium heat setting and not even on the highest for cotton...]

After Reuse, Fine Pieces of the Balls Flake Off
They did a great job removing pet fur from clothes for a while, but they seem to lose some of their effectiveness after a while. I use 5 balls in the dryer. I don't recall seeing instructions about how frequently they should be changed.

No complaints here!
It doesn’t get all the hair but I only have a short haired cat so I didn’t expect everything to be off but it does it all the lint off my clothes. I’m having issues understanding how to clean it because when I put it in the washer it still has lint on the ball. It doesn’t come off in the dryer but how will I know 100%. Overall it’s lovely! Works just as described!

works for short time, but...
Okay, so I did find that these balla collected a lot of pet hair, and I was finding quite a lot less strands and little fuzzballs on my clothes.HOWEVER, after a few washes, they start to break down. When the balls start to wear, they shed tiny, little, black what-I-could-only-describe-as "pricklies." These little friggles get stuck fast in the seams of soft fabric items, and the first time it happened, the seams of my pants were actually scratching my legs! I had to sit with a pair of tweezers and pick each little spine out of my clothing seams for multiple garments. (If they weren't pieces I really loved, I would have just thrown them away tbh)So, if these were significantly less expensive, in my opinion, they'd be worth using and replacing frequently, because they did remove the hair, but $16/box is way too much to be buying these every other week or so to remove the hair. (We do ~6 loads/week for reference.)If you have the $ to drop multiple times a month for these as soon as they start to show signs of wear, then go for it. I don't think I'll be repurchasing, though, as I can't bring myself to repeatedly buy these things to avoid tiny needles getting stuck in my clothes at their current price.

Gets stuck on and ruins clothes and leaves black jagged specs on clothes and in drier
I would not recommend these drier balls. I have three short haired animals and was very hopeful with this purchase. Honestly they are a waste of money. The balls have not make a noticeable difference in the pet hair, they have gotten stuck on and ruined a couple of my boyfriends clothing items by rubbing the clothing until it frays and leaves behind black little pieces of plastic that are hard to get out and are uncomfortable while wearing. The balls also leave behind a ton of black pieces in the drier lint catcher. Overall would not recommend this product.

If you have pets/long hair, you need these...
We have cats and my wife and I both have long hair. Naturally, at points between the dryer and putting them on, we spend a little time pulling out single hairs that have weaved their way into our shirts, sometimes even little hairballs that have coiled up around the armpit areas of the shirts. These dryer balls have made short work of that issue. Highly recommended!
