Good description in heading but missing size....DO NOT USE ON ROCKY BOTTOMS!
I think this will work great for what we want to use it for....(As a way to prevent our floating Patriot Pad floating down river...) The rope on our 5LB MUSHROOM anchor BROKE...so I am going to try to replace it with this. Now it is FALL here in MN...so I don't think I will use it this year, but I am impressed by:A- The price! Very reasonable!B- The length of the blades. I think it will do a good job of holding smaller/lighter floating objects on a "soft" bottom . I places the statement about the ROCKS as I can see this thing getting caught up on rocks and STUCK!!!C- Build quality seems good!D- How it "folds" up when NOT in use!!!What MAY not be good?A- Weight...at only 1.5 LBS...it may not "sink" quickly.B- Time to grab the bottom.....Not sure how quickly it will "grab" making placement important.C- How easy it will be to disengage. With the longer blades, will it come up easy?D- Getting stuck in ROCKSStill...I am giving it FIVE stars as I am betting it will be fine...but be aware of the bottom is will be used on and the weight and size....

Pretty small - very light duty
Good for a kayak or maybe a lillypad. GOOD enough for an hour or two on a calm lake in great weather with supervision

1.5lb anchors
The quality of the anchors are well made. I tape mine up but the claws work to good for what I’m using them for. I use the a little anchors to hold down my rafts for duck decoys. They come with the anchor shackles as well.

Good for small skiffs or PWC
These are relatively small anchors, but work perfectly for small gifts and personal watercraft lightweight but should get the job done. The price is right too

Great for a float
Perfect size to keep out float where we want it in the lake. Super cheap price also. We are very happy with it.

Batman or just someone who needs a grapple anchor?
Being a nearly 40 year old male it seems as though things like grapple anchors excite me. This is no different. I have a project where I need to hold fake ducks in a river current and this grapple anchor makes me feel like I'm Batman with my utility belt. Does it weight 1.5lbs? maybe. I don't know, I'll take their word for it. It looks cool and if it doesn't work for my project I can let my kids borrow it for a few hours. We haven't hit our deductible for the year yet so this would most likely push us over the edge.
