The quality of water especially during monsoons is very bad here and we wash a lot of clothes daily. As much as the washing quality is effected, the lime scales from the water also affect the machine's life. I am a person who believe in Prevention is better than cure. I have used Purifit's product earlier and was happy with it. Just have to connect the filter in the inlet point of the Washing Machine. Applying Teflon tape on the threading will avoid any leakage.Note: Remember to turn off the Water line before connecting.--------------⏩⏩ Pros:--------------👍 Easy to install. No connection size issues.👍 Keeps the Washing Machine clean and safe for long run.👍 Clothes feel softer due to hardness removal from water.👍 Long run of the Cartridge- 9 months for front load and 6 months for Top Load.👍 Easy to replace. One can buy polysulphate crystals of the same size and refill when required.--------------⏩⏩ Cons:--------------👎 Its orientation of installation needs almost 15cms of space behind the washing machine. Not all houses would have such space. The orientation needs to be vertical. Hope they come up with some solution.👎 You need good water pressure so that the slight decrease in pressure due to filter would not effect your washing machine's performance.---------------------⏩⏩ Conclusion:---------------------The Purifit filter is a very convenient and easy way to protect your washing machine and clothes from the water quality. If you are a person who wants to plan for long run of the electronics and want something with no maintenance, then this product is right for you.It is difficult to identify if the scaling has reduced immediately unless your water condition is very bad. So Will update after a while if there has been difference in long term.

This product is advertised as a Hard water softener !There is a very marginal reduction but inconsistent.Tested with TDSWater flow is reduced considerably taking long time to fill washing machine.Purifit should advertise their product as to FILTER only. No TDS reduction.

The quality is top-notch. It's function very well. Best fit in my house. Worth of money.

Product is ok ok but fitting & leakage issue in product.I So much try & but leakage issue not resolve..

Good for hard water

Working very well can be easily installed. I you have sediments in your pipes go for it. Check for o ring in product and tighten.
