Love this little salt box! Holds nearly a full box of Kosher Salt.

If you need a salt box...
... and you probably do, this is a good choice. Zero Japan ware has a homely feel similar to OG Fiestaware - it's just nice to have around the kitchen.I like the fact this has a full lid without any weird clasp or latch - it protects better than a salt pig but allows easier access than a lidded jar, and the handle is pretty sweet.If your lid doesn't seem to close fully, try backing the little screws out a turn or three - did the trick for mine and the one I got for a gift for a friend.

Way overpriced
The product is fine, although I had to tighten the screws when it arrived because the lid slid back and forth. My issue is the price. This is not worth $38.

It's a good ceramic box to hold salt.
The hinges seem like they could be fragit on the lid. Other than that it holds salt great. When it's not tilted none of it pours when it rains.

I like that it wont catch on fire right away but the hinge seems cheap

Buy it. Use it.
At first I thought is was just "fine." Now, I think it's great. Easy to move around. Easy to open. Satisfying sound when it opens and closes. Looks quite nice on the counter.
