We live on the second floor of a house that used to be just one big house but is now two flats the downstairs one and the upstairs one. So we live in the upstairs one, and it gets so hot here in the summer, because the windows and doors to the outside have to be kept closed. because we have twin toddlers. First year, it was ok, as they couldn't climb well th a year. However, they quickly became !massive climbers. They climbed out of their playpen, meaning balcony doors had to be closed..all balcony doors.had to be closed. Then they learned how to climb the couches, chairs, and radiators, which meant climbing to the windows. which meant having to.keep.then closed as well. Our last straw was when they climbed out of their cots, even while wearing their sleep sacks, chickenpox have been hard, but instead was super easy. Which meant the balcony in our room, the only source of.fresh air in ournroom, had to be closed. So we added these locks to the wimdows, which works, but im.still terrified that they will fall.through because the glass will break. The lock itself is.very very sturdy.We had to use 4 of.them in different ways in order to get the balcony door to.open just enough to let cool air in. We need about 8-10 more in order to make it safe for everyone's room to.have windows.open.

Only really wanted to keep roof windows at a limit to stop cats going out, Which does the job if opening carefully. Opened with a bit more force today and plastic fitting snapped easily, and I'm weak so can't imagine a burglar having an issue with these, even though burglars are a bit thick.

Ideal, with kids in the house, safety always cones first

Great little security device, I use it on windows that would open to 3 feet, this restricts to about 9 inches so no chance anyone can climb in. Only for use while I’m in the house. Easy to install on wooden windows.

Bought as my windows did not have any locks so if they were open you could push them fully open what gave me anxiety that someone can very easily access the house. It was easy to install and everything needed (beside a screwdriver) was included

I absolutely love these for my windows. My 3 year old is forever climbing out windows... which wasn't so bad before we moved to a 2 storey. Now I have no worries and keep the keys out of reach of my kids.

I needed something like this as a safety measure to stop our windows from fully opening as we have small kids around. This was easy to install, on one window I couldn’t drill the frame so used gorilla glue and it does the same job.

Secure solution to allow windows to be open. Should put burglars off (or at least make it harder for them!)
