I TOOK ALL MY FAUCET OUTSIDE THE HOUSE, WASHER HOT AND COLD WATER EASY TO TURN ON AND OFF NOT LIKE THE OLD CIRCLE VALVE TAKES SO LONG TO TURN ON AND OFF!!!!!!!I TURN MY WASHER HOT AND COLD WATER ON WHEN IN USE AND OFF WHEN NOT IN USE ITS SO EASY. THIS WILL HELP GIVE YOUR WASHER A LONGER LIFE YOU DO NOT HAVE PRESSUE GOING INTO YOUR WASHER BECAUSE THERE IS A VALVE IN THE WASHER AND IF IT GOES OFF WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT HOME YOU MIGHT HAVE WATER ALL OVER????????

I needed to replace a 25-year old hose bibb that was leaking. For about the same money as one with a pinch-type valve that requires multiple rotations to fully open or close, this ball-valve bibb opens or closes fully with a quarter-turn. Good quality brass construction; looks like it should last at least the 25 years I got out of the one I replaced. As you might expect, installation was no easier or harder than any other bibb or spigot with a threaded connection.

Exactly what I was hoping for. No leaks, nice control and feels well built. These Ball valves are so much better and don’t leak. I used to make my own but for around the yard these should be better. If you want full flow, there are some on amazon as well search for open port hose faucet. Also great but lots of water.I am so sick of leaky gate valves. I’ll never buy another - and will be replacing every gate valve I have over time.

Great for only a quarter turn to get full volulme have used it two for several months now with well water, and it works great. It states it's not for potable water because of the materials, but it seems to be brass which used to be ok.. I just use it for watering the garden and lawn so it's great for my purposes. It's makes it easy to identify the well water because the well is on the quarter turn ball valves. I've had no leakage from the faucet, or sticking of the valve and no corrosion. I would recommend it for gardening purposes.

Reasonable price.

Where I live, we get river irrigation water delivered in 10" underground pipes (were open ditches for over 100 years) and there are big valve lids that are opened to let the water out but when you just need a small amout for watering a small area or a few trees it is difficult so I began installing 3/4" valves on the lids to make it easy (and waste less water) to water small areas. Since I did my own, I have had many other people want valves attached to their irrigation lids, and that keeps me busy in the winter when the ditches/pipes do not have water and lids can be conveniently removed and brought to me. I chose this valve because it flows easily, is brass and will not corrode and it is easy and trouble free to use.

These quarter turns work great and are easy to install but the volume of water is much lower than the original hose bib it replaced
