Sports Stopwatch Timer RS-2009 - Extra Large Display | Ideal for Coaches, Runners and Athletes

It's not every day that you order an item online and it exceeds your expectations, but the ProCoach Sports Stopwatch Timer RS-2009 from Saberhead did. The first thing you will notice when it arrives is it is packaged beautifully in a box that rivals an Apple Iphone, but why shouldn't it? Saberhead has designed a functional time piece that screams quality. The next thing you might notice before you even reach for the stopwatch in the box is the email from Saberhead with a thankyou for your purchase and a link to a backup instruction manual in case you ever lose your hard copy. I never got that from a company before but it is indicative of the superior customer service this operation provides. As far as use of the stopwatch, it is flawless. Setup was easy and the controls all function like a stopwatch that would cost 10x the price. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this product, it is a bargain.

I bought this for my husband and I to use for a raft of purposes. There's lots to like about it: - Good size face - Feels good in the hand - Fast shipping and very well packed - Packed with tonnes of features that you think you don't need (until you have them available and then you think to yourself, "Wow, that's really handy" - Lightweight - It's simple to use - if you don't like reading instructions you'll certainly get the basics quickly just by having a bit of a play with it

I coach soccer and ordered this stopwatch for conditioning. I wanted a stop watch that was of good quality and simple to use. The Stopwatch Timer RS-2009 met all of my expectations. It arrived on time and comes in a nice box to keep it protected. The screen is a nice size all of the buttons are clearly marked. I prefer to keep the conditioning session moving at a fast pace the timer, "Keeps IT Simple Stupid" (KISS). I have a hard enough time calling out the players name correctly that I don't need to add more challenges. If necessary I can hand this timer to an assistant coach or parent and with in secs they have a handle on controlling it. I will recommend this product to my friends.

Positive: size is good for the hand. Negative: 1. can't shut it off to save power when not using (that I can find) so it runs all the time like a clock. Would rather be able to shut it off when not using to save battery as the whole back has to be unscrewed to replace. Now maybe it's a long running battery, idk, but would prefer a shut off mode. 2. no instructions came with it and had to be downloaded. Wouldn't have been that hard to include a small card with basic instructions so you have them on the go - not have to print a large pc of paper or wait till u have access to the internet. Overall: I would look further before buying.

I just wanted a simple piece of equipment, start and stop timing. The instructions are poorly written, and it's difficult to figure out how to set the different functions which I don't need. After having this for a couple of months, it now beeps randomly day and night, which I can hear all over my one bedroom condo. I haven't touched it in weeks, so I couldn't have set the timer by accident. I can't get the beeping to stop. Opened up the back to remove the battery and couldn't even find it. The buttons all fell off and were hard to get back when I screwed it back together. This is simply the most annoying piece of electronic equipment I've ever owned. Wish I could give it negative stars to help offset all the questionable five-star reviews from nonverified purchasers.

It was easy to set up and real easy to use, so far it has preformed its tasks flawlessly. It stays in my truck and has now doubled as an accurate time piece. Very pleased with it and the price. UPDATE: When changing batteries (2-AG13's), it is best to do it on a dark piece of fabric, the 3 screws in back are very tiny and easy to lose and a good set of eye glass repair screw drivers will get the job done.

It's a stopwatch, so far it works, It's hard to say you LOVE something this simple. Amazing amount of customer service for such a small item, I did download the special directions, but really, I don't think I needed them to get it to work.

I haven't put this through much of a ringer, to be honest. I coach my boys lacrosse team, and we use this to help us sub the boys on a fairly regular interval, and for penalty times. It has done a great job so far. Pretty simple. I honestly am not the best at reading directions, so I just pushed buttons until I figured it out...probably not recommended??? But, so far, I do recommend the timer.
