Helix Giant Bow Compass (32590)

I purchased this compass because the item description claimed that it would draw "max circle is 10 1/2-Inch." I need it to draw a 10" circle. The maximum size circle that it will draw is 8.5".Therefore, is was a waste of money for my application.It is well made, and will last a lifetime, but I will have to buy another one that does what it is suppose to do.

This compass crapped out on me one month after i bought it. I took care of it and did not put excess pressure on the compass, but alas! The pivoting plastic things that engaged the threads of the adjuster were plastic, and promptly became unthreaded in a very short time. the accessories were sufficient, and the packaging was decent. The compass is now useless to me, as it doesn't work anymore. I Highly recommend the Staedtler Masterbow Comfort Student Compass, it has metal picots that will not become unthreaded.

Seems to be a fine compass. Case hinge not best quality.

This was required for my son's Geometry class and it will hold up to a teenager hauling it around. Sturdy, functional

I purchased this compass for my daughter's schooling. It's a good value and appears much sturdier than prior owned compasses. It's high quality for the price.

It's sturdy and pleasant to use.
