This smoke stopper is a must if you do any kind of RC work with Lipo batteries. It’s super easy to use and the quality is top notch. Just click a button and hope for a light.

This smoke stopper is the very best, and I’ll tell you why. First of all, and the most important is it cuts the connection of an overload or short immediately as I have tested this functionality by shorting out a 4s 1500 mAh battery. The second reason it’s the best is you can change the amount of draw it takes to show an overload, it has 3 different draws you can choose from, High , Medium, and Low. It comes with two style plugs, XT-30, and XT-60, input and output. And the very best reason why I love this smoke stopper so much is has an on/off switch for the unit. Anyone that builds quads or anything with a receiver or flight controller knows what a pain it can be to plug the LiPo in while holding down the bind switch. Well with this on, off switch that’s not an issue, plug your LiPo in while it’s turned off, press your bind button, then just click the switch on and if no smoke or sizzle, your bound. Easy Peasy.

So far so good. For the price it's a must have if you're wiring a FC. A little insurance is always nice. I like being able to power cycle the drone.

Works as directed, takes away that first boot up, or hard crash anxiety, because you can never put the smoke back where it came from after it made that wonderful sound. Great product, great price, great quality.

I wish I knew how much I needed this years ago. The smoke stopper might be the least useful feature. I use this for the power on off button to put receivers into bind mode and when testing cameras or other settings. Since it limits the current to 1 or 2 amps, selectable, I don't bother taking the props off when I power it up in Betafllight. I also never thought I'd be using it to convert between XT30 or XT60 connectors when I power something up in Betaflight or just to test the cameras. Again, the power is limited to 1 amp by the smoke stopper, so I can power up a 5" quad with a XT30 battery. Never the plan, but when you're too lazy to get a different battery...

This smoke stopper works really well in helping identify issues with soldering and connections before they destroy your RC vehicle or electronics project.

Such a nice relaxing feeling plugging in the battery for the first time, knowing this will protect the flight controller and all the precious electronics. The "on/off" switch also makes testing the configuration much easier. Love it!.
