I bought for a friend as a present. This is not advanced. You can say it is upper-intermediate.

This is an excellent book to use to supplement a C1 text book - each grammar topic is covered by 1-2 pages of explanation and a similar number pages of exercises for the student. Most textbooks focus on practicing the types of questions you get in the exam, and are short on grammatical explanations, so this is especially good to give weaker students more practice with the grammar.

This is meant for foreign language students; to learn idiomatic usage.
