I wish I'd had this book earlier
First of all, I attribute my own weight loss to juice fasting, and mine was more vegetable-heavy than these recipes because juicing is different than smoothies, but let me just say these recipes look and smell good. Really good.And the Why Smoothies? page is right on... these drinks are faster, healthier, and more versatile. Juicing was great for me, but I wish I'd had this book of healthy smoothie recipes too. But forget about all that logical stuff - these smoothies look yummy.Cool names too - You Deserve Magenta, Sweet Date, Strawberry Fields. Dozens more. The important part though is the health benefits that Jennifer puts in. It isn't just a bunch of random stuff you throw into your blender. Your getting what your body needs to restore health in terms of antioxidants, and the great variety of ingredients provides your body with life changing nutrients that, if you're not in the habit of eating healthy like this, will totally knock your socks off. You might just grab sandals, skip work, and drive straight to the beach... haha. A kid can dream, right?

This book made me salivate!!
Not only are the smoothie recipes easy to make but the ingredients are accessible & good for you!This little book has a practical layout making it easy to navigate plus the author offers plenty of information around the back-story of detoxification in the body-all really good information!My personal favorites are; Purple Velvet & Little Red Riding Hood with proven anti-oxidants such as blueberries & goji berries mixed with other typical fruits & honey-just delicious!I appreciated the research that obviously went into each & every smoothie creation. Highly Recommended!

Don't buy it.
This book should be a free kindle book. With the little content that is in it it took about 10 minutes to go through. Most of the recipes that are in it are also available on the internet for free. Definitely not worth even $3.99.

Packed Full of Wonderful Recipes
I enjoyed this book. It was very informative. It not only gave me smoothie recipes but also the health benefits associated with them. The ones I tried (Vitamin C Burst and Exotic Holiday) proved to be very delicious. I intend to try some others just to see what they taste like. I also like it because it introduced me to several herbs and ingredients that I never imagined would be included in a smoothie. Things like basil, ginger, and peanut butter.

Smoothies I'd actually drink
I am happy to see the recipes in this book are ones that I and my son would both drink and enjoy. So many times I've found recipes to be rather nasty sounding. These, I'll like. Thank you so much. I'm especially eager to try 'Summer in Winter.'

Detox Smoothies
Great verities in this book, all are flavorful. My daughter has enjoyed better energy since I have incorporated them into her diet . She has been dealing with cancer for 5 years. First diagnosed at 37. Don't wait if you have bowel issues. More young people are being diagnosed with colon and rectal cancer.

Great for both smoothie novices and vets.
Wonderfully written with a variety of delicious recipes. The author takes special care to provide the nutritional benefits of each major ingredient and prefaces the book with an outline of the positive effects of smoothies in the individual diet regimen. There's a little something here for every taste bud. Recommended.

Delicious...Good Intro Into Smoothies For Beginners
I am so glad I downloaded this book. I love the fact the author has given so much info about the nutritional benefits about the individual ingredients in each smoothie and the clear explanation at the beginning of the book about "free radicals and role of antioxidants and vitamins" ---its written in such a clear manner, I could see the value in having smoothies as part of your daily diet. The recipes are clear and easy to follow and the author gives nice tips about ways to make your smoothie sweeter or more nutritional. This morning I made the Carrot and orange smoothie and my insides feel all nice and fresh! A good read and useful resource I shall I referring to on a daily basis. Thank you.

Very informative.
Having been given a smoothie maker I was keen to try it out and I discovered this book was free at the time.I have to admit that when I started reading it I thought "I only wanted to try some smoothie recipes."I can understand the nutritional value is important, but for me it put me off, I just wanting to try some recipes out. Also, there were a few ingredients which you would never find in a supermarket in rural France, however, being a competent cook I am aware I can substitute, but thought perfectionists might not.Overall it has some lovely recipes in it which I am enjoying experimenting with.

Smoothie heaven
A wonderful selection of recipes I can't wait to try them out. I really enjoyed this book and the recipes are clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend.

Delicious AND Nutritious
The recipes in this book are great, they are delicious and nutritious. Each recipe has an introduction which I love!! My favourite so far is the Purple Smoothie Twist, the addition of basil is fab :)
