OrolayWomen Warm Down Jacket with Hood Fur Long Puffer Coat

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted the longest, warmest down coat I could find in a vibrant color…not black, navy, gray, or dark olive. I don’t look good in dark colors. They wash me out. I couldn’t get my photos to add, but I just got my Fruit Green coat and it is beautiful! It looks like an olive green in the dim light of my apartment, but a brighter yellow green outdoors, in the sun. I love the brighter shade I see in better light! Fortunately, green is the only color I can wear most shades of. That’s why I bought it, even though I was not sure of the shade, based on photos. I am 202 pounds, 5’7” and 36F. I started out buying XXL. because I usually wear an XL or 0X-1X coat and wanted room for layers. The XXL was too big in the waist. The coat has an elastic section in the rear waist. It looked really funny, with that being baggy. I wasn’t sure if the coat was as thick as I need for the Upper Midwest U.S.. I read reviews saying it fluffs up thicker, after a few days, but I still don’t know that it would keep me warm in -30 F to -50F temps. I found a thin, packable puffer in close to the same color and had ordered it to wear underneath. Base layer puffers are more expensive and some research told me they are, basically, the same thing. I wanted one of the “thickened” coats, but this is more my style, so that was my solution. I was saddened to find that the XL was sold out. Only the Large had ONE left. Surprisingly, it matched my measurements, almost exactly, on the size chart. It came today. It fits like it does on the model, but does not give me her backside. Lol. It still looks good, with a little less junk in the trunk. I don’t think it has room for the packable puffer I bought to go under it, so I will have to see how much cold it can handle. Based on my experience with other coats of this heft, I have already ordered a 750 fill down coat, as well. I think this will be good for wearing dresses under and still keeping heat close to my body, since it’s fairly form-fitting on me. It’s quite flattering, when the snaps are done up, which is rare (for a puffer coat). I can still move comfortably and move my arms freely, which is very important. I had a neck injury that caused degenerative disc disease and dystonia, so coats that are too small in the shoulders are painful! This has room and does not look too boxy, like some that are bigger in the shoulders. However, it could be This will make a nice coat for dressing up and I will also have my “sleeping bag” coat, for when warmth is all that matters. Update: I returned the XXL for a Large and it does fit perfectly! The packable thin down puffer does fit under it, making it an extremely warm coat, altogether. My puffer ran 2 sizes small, so it’s kinda funny…I’m wearing a 4X liner under a Women’s Large coat and it fits perfectly!

Beautiful and warm…so thankful for warm cuffs so air doesn’t get up the sleeve. Zipper and snap closure on front …?wonderful! Length is great for cold windy weather. So glad to have purchased this coat.

the coat seemed warm and well made, the issues i had with it was too heavy for me with arthritus and the color was more of a light butter color, not white, and material didnt seemed wipeoffable if a spill happened.

I am 5'6" tall, around 220-230 lbs, with most of my weight in my hips and backside, and the 2xl fits me perfectly. I have shorter arms with thick upper arms, and the sleeve length is perfect with just the right amount of room for my upper arms without being bulky. The zipper can be a little tricky, but once zipped stays in place. And the coat is flattering whether you zip it up or not. The length of the coat hits below my knees at the top of my calf. I am a courier for a major food delivery service and needed a warm coat to work in that wasn't bulky but would also allow me to layer a sweater or hoodie underneath. And this one delivers! (Lame pun intended). The hood is big on me, but I have a very small head. The faux fur is nice though and soft to the touch. This coat is so warm that when I am working in 30°F weather, I sweat if I have a heavy hoodie on as well. All in all, great buy for cold winter weather!!

Yay! The green color is beautiful. The hood is XXHuuge, but I kinda like it for shielding snow and rain. Not great for the peripheries, though. And no drawstring or cinch, so it flies right off my head with a big gust of wind. Or falls over my eyes. I’ve found that wearing a beanie with balls helps keep the fur out of my eyeballs. The hood is also removable, so there’s that. The collar is functionally nice and thick and zips all the way up to my chin.The jacket overall seemed thin at first, but puffed up over a day or 2.It is really cute and warm on very cold days with or without layers, depending on the number of digits in degrees outside.Mneh: It's a leeeeetle bit snug across the shoulders when I cross my arms. Also, the sleeves are a leeeeetle bit shorter than I'm used to, but the wrist cuff keeps them in place. The size is MEDIUM. I tried a Large just to see, but it was WAY too big for me.Also, the zipper gets stuck in a few places along the track, and it takes some real getting-to-know-you time learning how to get the zipper clicked in and started at the bottom. Frustrating initially, but I’ve got a feel for it now.One of the snaps fell off (shown in photo) and a hole developed inside the right pocket in the seam within the first month.I returned it and exchanged for a new one in the same size and color because, I really want to love this jacket! The fit is nice with the cinched waistline. The down is packed nicely in its compartments. It’s warm (now officially tested). I’ve been thru a lot of jackets now trying to find the perfect one. As far as quality, for $150, I expected much better. But for now, it’ll do. I’m hoping the first one was a lemon and the second one lasts a long time. The zipper on the second one is the same, maybe a little stickier in one extra spot. But it’s workable. I’m rocking it.

A great coat for the price! It’s very cute and warm, and also very flattering… It’s very flattering to my shape with the elastic in the back it pulls everything together nicely!

It arrived just in the nick of time forour trip to Seoul where temps recently dropped to the teens. It was perfect. Perfectly warm and that’s all I can ask for. Looks great on my daughter.

I bought this coat on the basis of the positive reviews from other buyers, I really does live up to the reviews of being a well made sylish warm coat, well worth the money. I originally bought an XL and it was too big for me (size 14 5ft 6) I usually size up with coats but there was too much room even with a thick jumper underneath, so I went for a large and its perfect, still room to breath but looks nice and fitted and you can sit down fully zipped up and not suffcate underneath. Love the clour too.
