My engine started up the time and now it wont start up any advice to get it started

Ours have been great Carburettor is usually big issue with the motos You tube is my best advice

What is the thin black cable for on my motor ? I brought a project quad and its all been cut etc

Can u upload a pic if you are referring to the black wire that come out of the engine case near the spark plug wire That is the cdi wire u need to connect that to a kill swith so u can turn ur bike off it will work with out a kill switch just don't connect the wire
