Spiderwire Orb Spider Fishing Tackle Bag, 15.7-Liter, Black

First off, I am a mom of teenagers who have discovered fishing. One of them in particular has become quite passionate. Now, as a result, I have lures, hooks, and squiggly looking things all over the place. So, this purchase, while one of his Christmas requests, was also something I wanted.I looked for particular things, not being overly fisherly. Price, durability, size/storage, looks and pockets.Price- I am a bargain type of shopper. I searched, saved items, researched and compared literally for weeks before deciding on this bag.Regarding the look of the bag. I bought this for a teenage boy that knows what he likes and is picky. He likes it. Need I say more?Storage- Now I just based my choice on the squigglies, hooks, lures and various odd items that had taken over a corner of my family room. But I like the compartmentalized boxes that come with the bag and purchased 2 more that all fit nicely inside.Upon Arrival- (delivery was a bit slow compared to other Amazon items, but worth it) And it was well packaged.I checked this bag out as a mom and shopper, and yes, compared it a bit to a purse for usefulness and ease of access.The first thing I noted was how thick and durable the material was. It felt incredibly solid, which was a relief. The color pattern is nice, with a deep black accented with a lime green.Then I started poking and prodding. There are grommet like things, pockets, and webbing galore. I like the security of zippers versus those sad snap type closures. The balance of the bag was also very nice with a variety of ways to be carried from a long handle to short. My son likes the pliers holder that is detachable, and all of the buckles where tested and tugged on. They felt very securely seated and provided a decisive click when engaged.The interior was well laid out with no narrow corners for items to get lost in. And the interior looks like it can hold up to water and rough treatment. I actually considered it for a purse it had so many nice pockets and such a useful and secure design. My son did not find me amusingAnyway.. he really likes it, and from an analytical standpoint I am very happy as well Added bonus... surprisingly fast all of those fishing bits and bobs found their way into the trays and bag.So.. I would recommend this, based on the above, without reservation

Wow, very impressed with this fishing lure bag!!! Very well made and comes with two lure cases!!! Lots of pockets to put things in and a nice compact size!Very happy with this bag and with the sale price, it's a great value!!!

Great bag with pokers and storage. Lightweight. Long strap and handle for easy carry. Will test out durability over next few weeks. Using bag for medical supplies to carry while on call. Giving 4/5 because one of the two plastic containers is completely cracked and unusable.

When it's new I use this bag as a lunch bag and carry all for tools and such. I am very hard on these bags as I work outside and the bag is moving every day from place to place. By rights it should encounter a lot of wear but the bag rarely shows the amount of use it gets. My current bag is about 6 years old and in decent enough shape that it will get retired to doing what it was designed to do as a fishing tackle carrier. This is the only lunch/ work bag I'll ever buy. It's great.

It's a great product. There is great storage space , great for organizing and easy to carry. I bought this for my boyfriend who loved it, he was previously carrying a bulky plastic tackle box. It is durable been carried to the beach and the boat it is small enough to not be a pain and big enough to keep everything we need for fishing. The price is great considering anything like this at stores can get anywhere from the low $100s and the design is nice too.

Good for quick trips or a long day of fishing. Good storage size but I would recommend supplementing a couple of your own storage boxes with the ones that come supplied. The included ones have small boxes and are not adjustable. Good for hooks and small jigs but not larger tackle. Overall not a bad value

Ordered for a trip to the Boundary Water. Return window has closed. Lost both sets of my needle nose plyers due to the poor design of the holster. It unclips when you set the bag down. The linger ripped out after less than a week of use.

While the bag looks great it does have some flaws (1) the removable scissor case constantly falls off, (2) the bag is not that large so the main compartment will quickly become crowded, and (3) the main compartment zipper is angled which makes is somewhat difficult to quickly unzip.The Ugly Stick medium bag sold at Academy Sports is almost identical is shape, has a better zipper system,contains an extra plastic tray, and is less expensive. Had I seen that one first I definitely would have bought instead.Update: 11/18. The bag completely fell apart at the stitching after what I would consider light use. Look elsewhere. The Spiderwire backpack appears to be much more useful.

Awesome bag. Lots of space and looks amazing and the quality is incredible. Worth the price for sure. It comes with 2 plastic cases which I don’t think it says in the description. So I purchased cases which I didn’t need.

Suitable size for my reels & accessories. External 1680 denier material is good with fairly good stitching.The inside PVC lining material is very likely to be ripped or torn as it is taking weight of bag when lifted by the top handle. Needs redesign of stitching of zipper & inside lining material. I will have to use shoulder to lift up the bag.

What can i say, i use it for a lunch bag for work, its perfect, looks great to! Lot's of storage, would work good for a daily fishing bag.
