Excellent Customer Service. They Truly Stand Behind Their Product
I’ve had the DXR-8 PRO monitor for over two years and recently started having issues with the battery not holding a charge. Even though my unit was outside of the warranty period, I reached out to Infant Optics support—and I’m so glad I did.Gladys from their customer service team went above and beyond. She responded quickly, patiently walked me through troubleshooting steps, and when the issue turned out to be the monitor itself, she arranged a free replacement even though I was out of warranty. She even made sure I wouldn’t be without a monitor while waiting, which meant a lot to me as I’m about to welcome a new baby. It’s rare to see this level of customer care, and I’m grateful they stand by their product and treat their customers with respect. Highly recommend—not just for the monitor, but for the peace of mind that comes with a company that truly supports their users. Happy to use this with baby #2 soon.

Great customer service, great product!
We bought this monitor for our first baby and loved it. We loved it so much we bought an additional camera for our second baby. I love that this can connect up to 4 cameras. After 2 years though it wouldn’t hold a charge. I was so sad because it has been the best. One day it just turned off. I reached out to the company and I cannot say enough good things about their costumer service. They responded right away and tried to help me figure out the problem. Once we realized it could not be fixed they sent me a new one despite being over the warranty. That alone will make me a costumer for any additional babies. They are the best. I highly recommend!!

We LOVE infant optics!!
Excellent camera and monitor unit. Takes less than a minute to set up and pair cameras, very easy process. We’ve tried many different brands and this remains our favorite. It’s reliable, does not use WiFi, I can see both my children clearly (so much so I can see them breathing) and the customer service is incredible. They were extremely responsive to my inquiries and went above and beyond for me. We are a loyal customer of infant optics and will continue to use our camera and monitor for many years.

Solid product
I bought this largely for the interchangeable lenses, as the previous baby monitor was zoomed way too far in, and my wife and I are trying to keep track of a whole bedroom instead of a single corner...we have two toddler boys who like to violate curfew, and the 2 yr old is sneaky about it. Product works great so far. Key thoughts:Pros:1.) The user interface on the monitor is superb. Has good feel, quality button clicks, etc. The things that should have dedicated buttons have them, and everything else is on a straightforward, easily navigated menu. Very nicely done UI.2.) Video quality is good, and the wide-angle lens (bought separately) works better than I anticipated. Great for seeing who's out of bed and up to mischief.3.) I'm always skeptical of advertised broadcast range, but the real world conditions on this are perfectly satisfactory. I am getting a signal through the brick wall of my house, and then 130 yards down the street to the main road at the entrance of my cul-de-sac (at which point I run out of room to walk further). It is reading 1-3 bars signal strength at that range. More than I need.4.) Pairing additional cameras was extremely easy and nearly instantaneous. Nicely done feature.5.) If any of the paired cameras are turned off (or out of range), the video monitor will ding at you, regardless of whether it is displaying that particular feed. The ding alert can be turned OFF in the monitor menu, which I appreciate - if an extra camera is turned off because I want to conserve the system, the dinging gets annoying quickly. But, I also appreciate the ding alert being available...I can foresee a kid-who-should-be-napping getting the bright idea to turn off the video camera while my wife is outside gardening. In this case, she would get an alert within seconds.6.) The camera movement / scanning feature is quite smooth, and moves in very fine increments. Motor is whisper quiet. Awesome feature for a no-Wifi camera set-up.Cons:1.) You get what you pay for. This camera system was 3x the price of the one we returned, and so it feels like an investment. If a kid breaks a camera, I'll be pulling it from their college fund. That'll teach 'em!

Amazing video quality compared to Non-pro version
I bought this as an emergency last-minute purchase when my InfantOptics DXR-8 (NOT-pro) finally died after 5 years of abuse (I can't tell you how many times that thing fell on the floor). I was really hating the non-pro version, and upgrading to the Pro, I can honestly say I am so impressed and feel like I have missed out on such a quality baby monitor all this time. The difference between the video quality between the DXR-8 and the Pro is huge. The range is much better, as the (non-pro)DXR-8 had really shoddy connection between opposite corners of my 2500 sqft house if we were relaxing downstairs while kiddo was asleep upstairs. I have not had any connection issues with the Pro in any room in my house. The ANR feature works well on single camera mode, but turns off during scan mode (as intended). This is not a dealbreaker for me anyway. I was relieved that the mounting bracket and wide angle lenses were interchangeable with my old non-Pro version, so I didn't need to buy replacements on those. I also appreciate that there is a physical button for the volume instead of having to open the menu for it.My ONLY complaint is that I do use the monitor to talk to my older kid sometimes, and immediately after speaking on it, there is a couple-second gap of time after releasing the microphone button where the monitor is still muted and I can't hear my kid since he always responds immediately. I'm going to have to teach him to pause before responding so I can hear.I've been using this thing for 3 days now and I can't stop staring at the crystal-clear picture of my baby sleeping so peacefully on this baby monitor <3
