GREAT for chefs. And there's an easy way to extend battery life by up to 150%.
If you don't care about the health and fitness features of the watch, you can go into programs and delete all health and fitness related apps. Don't just disable them, completely delete them and their program software from the watch. Some apps will still run in the background if you just disable them; you need to completely get rid of the app and it's programing/software. If you turn ON the feature that automatically turns on the screen when tilting your wrist then the battery life will be around 115 to 120% which is still better than normal and in my opinion very worth it.I'm also a professional chef, and this watch has helped me in SO MANY ways. An easy to use timer so that I can keep track of my items in the oven when multiple people are using the same oven that only has one timer. You can also check the timer without touching your watch by haveing the tilt to activate setting and using the quick wrist flicking motion to scroll without ever needing to touch the watch. The google assistant to answer any volume conversion. A sanitary way to check text messages and important emails while working so you don't have to pull out your dirty phone from your pocket, resulting in constant excessive and unnecessary hand washing. If you're really bad at spelling like I am, Google assistant can also tell you the correct spelling of French and Italian words that we constantly use in the kitchen when you need to lable and date something. Speaking of which, it's an easy way to check what today's date is if you constantley forget when you need to lable something.

Worth the price
Great overall watch. I enjoy a good minimalist face and design so the battery lasts for a good few days. The display is nice and punchy, and there's zero latency between the watches notifications and those on my phone.

Great watch - bad clasp.
Love this watch - but hate the clasp on the watch band! It continually pops open and often the whole thing falls off my wrist! Guess I have to spring for a new band for my new watch.

DEFECTIVE ALL AROUND! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE.
I've now gone through two of these watches and had problems with both items. The first time I got the watch, it kept on shocking my where the charging rings are and the battery life only lasted 6 hours in a day even at full charge. The second time I got the watch as a replacement, the crown center button was defective with barely responsive button clicks that made it virtually a attention hassle every time I tried to use it and no matter what I did, the google assistant on this one did not ever work. I've tried all the tricks that the internet has to provide and none of them worked. Reset the watch multiple times and no dice.I'm willing to try for another replacement since I like the design, but if they don't agree to sending me another replacement that works properly, I'm not keeping this tech garbage.

Wear OS is unfinished and all but forgotten by google. Hardware isn't there yet.
As Wear OS devices go, this one is fine. However, smartwatches in general, and particularly Wear OS, just aren't there yet.Battery technology is moving fast, so maybe in a couple years we'll have devices that can be capable and still last through the day. As of October 2020, not so much. If you expect to do much more than tell time, you aren't likely to get more than about 12 hours battery life with devices like this one.Google Assistant on WearOS devices is a lite version. One example, my wife's name is Delores. I can't call her from Google Assistant on my watch because it tries to find a Dolores (with an O) in my contacts, and I don't have one. My Pixel will call her for me, no problem because Google Assistant in its full form will check for different spellings. It falls short in a lot of ways; this is just an example.Wake on tilt feature on this device is very unreliable. I kept finding myself shaking my wrist to wake it up, and I could have just pulled out my phone easier. If you are looking for fitness tracking at all, this isn't it. I decided that that was secondary for me, so I elected to go with a smart watch over something like a fitbit. I expected that it would "do fine" tracking heartrate etc. Depending on what you consider "fine" it likely doesn't. It only checks heartrate every 10 minutes, and the Google Fit App is basically just a few charts of that data. You also won't be able to do sleep tracking unless you are strategic with your charging routine, because the battery will not run for a full day and then through the night. This one is personal preference, but it didn't have a watch face that I liked. Not just in terms of style, but there was no face from Google or Skagen that displayed the information that I wanted. (steps, heartrate, basic weather, date and time) Facer has loads of faces, so I'm sure if I had looked harder I could have found something, but $10 or in to facer, I still wasn't happy, and some of those faces are terrible on the already inadequate battery. All of this, and there isn't much hope for improvement. The hardware will continue to improve, but there is almost no movement on this platform by Google. Now that they have acquired Fitbit, most people assume that they will drop Wear OS on a shelf with Google Glass, and I agree. For the good though :)I do think this watch is made well, and it looks good. It didn't look too large (to me) on my small wrist, and it was comfortable. The band was a pleasant surprise. I expected it to be soft rubber, but it feels more like some metal with a hard rubber coating. It has weight, and is still very comfortable. The display was nice and bright, even in direct sun, even if every face I tried looked like a sticker if it wasn't displaying motion (very flat).I returned it because it was basically unusable. I would have been happy enough to keep it if...1. Google Assistant was as it is on my phone.2. I could use it to control the Call Screening feature on my Pixel (can only answer, ignore, or text caller)and 3. The battery would last at least 24 hours without turning everything off.Hope this is helpful.

Great watch. Battery doesn't last through the day.
Very comfortable. I like it allot. Stylish. It does everything I need and more.I don't like wearing watches. Tried many diff watches over the years and none ever lasted because I find them uncomfortable. The con with this watch is that the battery doesn't last through the day.

Sleek look
The Skagen falster watch looks stunning and sleek. The heart rate tracking and step counter works perfectly. The speaker is good. The battery lasts for only twelve hours. The talkback does not work properly.

Skagen smartwatches not good as classic watches
The watch looks amazing when new but the black metal colour fade after a couple of months. The GPS is not quite accurate, and the battery lasts less than one day.It is stylish but not the best quality.

Battery doesn't last a full day. Google assistant doesn't work.
The battery life sucks. I've played with the settings and unless you turn off most of the functions and pretty well much use it as a regular watch, it's hard to get a full day out of the battery. The main reason I bout this was for Google assistant functions for text. I've reset the thing to factory settings and even reset both my phone and the watch and the Google assistant just refuses to work with the phone. Seems to be a known issue the Google is unable or unwilling to fix. Nice looking watch but I really should have returned it ages ago.
