A perfect glaze cone 5/6

Cone 6 instead of Cone 06
It was advertised as a Cone 06, but when the bottle was shipped, it was Cone 6 without the "0" in front of it, which means it is high fire instead of low fire, which I can't use in our school studio. Don't know if I should bother returning it.

we do a cone 06 firing, and this glaze comes out completely flat and black. it's great like that, but in our studio, we don't get a steel blue, just black, and no hint of a gloss at all.

Gorgeous matte steel glaze
I cannot recommend enough this glaze. Gorgeous rich pigmentation and consistency. The only downside is that you have to be really careful how you apply it. Mistakes can be really hard to fix if your work is elaborated and needs high precision. I tried removing it with water in various ways. It actually turns the clay smudged. Other than that, once fired it is truly majestic looking. It will turn any ordinary piece into something special.
