Schmidt'sNatural Deodorant, Ylang-Ylang & Calendula, 2 Oz ()

I have extremely extremely sensitive skin, especially on my face and under arms. Having said that, I also have suffered my entire life since middle school age years with excessive sweating. I am VERY self conscious when it comes to sweating and despite the regularity of using chemical based anti perspirants, I have always felt like I still smell like sweat. For along time I used Certain Dri, which seemed to helped the sweating, but not with odor and it BURNED. IT BURNED SOMETHING AWFUL FOR HOURS after application, which was a nightly thing. Then I would still have to use another deodorant in the morning. For years i desperately wanted to find an all natural deodorant bc I was petrified of the chemicals used in most deodorants. I am very Eco-friendly and I don't keep ANY chemicals or synthetic products in my house at all... Except my deodorant. I have tried almost all the natural deodorant brands- toms, honest, arbonne (which was $17 for one stick!!), etc. Not one of them lasted for more than an hour. I thought I was SOL until my DoTerra consultant recommended Schmidts. I was like well here we go again, another waste of a very expensive deodorant.My god was I wrong. It works. It more than works. This stuff is Ahhhhmazzinnngggg! I own a small cafe and after hours of working in a 100 degree kitchen, I can FINALLY not be embarrassed about sweating. I don't stink. AT ALL. Even after a long day of work. Which even my chemical based, supposedly 48 protection Degree stick couldn't even stand up to. I went completely cold turkey and quite my old deodorant. Got rid of my clinical protection and regular sticks. I have been using only Schmidts for about 2 months now. My excessive sweating that I have always struggled with, GONE. And I am finally never embarrassed. Words can't even describe how much stress this has taken out of my life. This product truly shines as odor control and natural antiperspirant.Back to my ultra sensitive skin, I did experience the burning/rash that most other reviewers talk about. It happened about a week or two after switching. I broke out with bright red skin, a terrible burning sensation and a slight rash. I decided the burn was worth it since it was an all natural product and it didn't hurt anymore than the Certain Dri brand I had used years ago that was basically all aluminum :( after about a day or two tho, the burning sensation and rash went away and has never returned. I honestly believe it was just my body's way of acclimating to the new product and getting used to the baking soda. But for a day or two of discomfort to now have the piece of mind of an all natural product that works above and beyond ANY other deodorant (chemical based or natural alike), I'd say it was well more than worth it. Stick it out my friends. It does go away!

I was so excited to find that this deodorant was keeping me dry and smelling good all day long. I am having a baby soon and wanted to cut out as many chemicals in preparation for breastfeeding. The application was a bit awkward, but I felt this was sustainable bc it was seeming to work so well. I used the product for about two weeks when all of a sudden I got a VERY RED RASH akin to a burn in my armpits. Seriously, it kept me up all night last night, it hurt so badly. I'm not sure why I didn't see that there are so many recent reviews with the same reaction from people who also do not have sensitive skin and have never had problems with previous deodorants. I would NOT recommend this purchase because it is much more expensive than normal deodorants and seems to be trending towards causing fairly severe skin problems.

I began using natural deodorant because my lymph nodes were starting to react to conventional deodorant. So I went through the pit detox (which is a MUST for anyone changing over to natural deodorant, but it's totally painless and really does make you sweat less!), then I started using Primal Pit Paste. I used it for several months and was happy with it - it has some great scents, and the cream deodorant really is very creamy and easy to spread. But after a while, I began to notice that it didn't keep me smelling fresh all day, and many days I had to wash my armpits and reapply my deodorant halfway through my day. That's just not sustainable for me, so I started shopping around for something different.Now that I've tried Schmidt's Natural Deodorant, I don't think I'll be going back to P3 any time soon. The thing that drew me to Schmidt's was the ylang-ylang deodorant. It's one of my favorite scents, and this deodorant does not disappoint in that area. The scent is fresh and light and keeps going ALL DAY no matter what I'm doing! I exercise six days a week and used to have to apply P3 before I started my workout every morning (just so I could stand myself! LOL) and again after I showered and sometimes once again before bed because, well, I just didn't smell fresh. With Schmidt's, I found that I only have to apply this deodorant ONCE a day. Now, my morning routine is to hop out of bed and get dressed in my workout gear WITHOUT applying any deodorant, do my workout, have a cup of coffee or tea while I linger over breakfast and the morning news, then an hour or so later I'll hop in the shower. And I don't smell like a water buffalo! My husband doesn't shy away from a morning snuggle. My kids don't walk past me and say, "Whew, Mom, stink much??"So this stuff has amazing staying power - I really can't overstate its effectiveness. My only complaint - and the reason I'm docking it a star - is that the cream deodorant is really a pain in the neck to work with. You're supposed to scoop it up into a pea-sized ball with the little spatula they give you and warm it between your fingers to make it spreadable. Well...good luck with that. The "cream" is actually hard and chalky and the spatula just breaks it up into tiny shavings that are really difficult to form into a ball. If this deodorant didn't REALLY WORK I would have tossed it in the trash in frustration the first week. But it does, so I came up with a workaround to make it easier to apply. Now that it's cold, we keep a little ceramic heater on our bathroom counter to heat the room while we shower, so I set my jar of deodorant in front of that heater while I'm in the shower, and when I get out it's usually softened up enough to be workable. And, surprisingly, I've found that the creamier the deodorant is when I put it on, the longer it keeps me smelling fresh! So that's a bonus to taking this extra step. When the weather gets warm again, I'm hoping that the deodorant will just naturally soften up a bit based on the air temp. If not, I think I'll invest in one of those electric mug warmers and just set my jar on that to soften it while I shower.If you can handle the consistency of this deodorant, you will not be disappointed in how well it works. It's taken me through everything from lazy PJ days to full-day hikes and I never worry about how I smell. I'm definitely a convert!

Habituée à ce déodorant, je l'utilise depuis des années. Il est efficace, ne sent pas fort, est simple à appliquer. Il suffit de le faire fondre doucement entre les doigts avant de l'appliquer. Tient bien dans le temps même en cas de forte chaleur ou d'activité intense et le petit pot dure longtemps.

Facile da usare e senza plastica tranne che per il tappo del barattolo.Profumo gradevole. Funziona benissimo ed è senza sostanze tossiche

Ich benutze dieses Schmidt's Deo schon seit langem weil es das einzige Deo ist, was erstaunlich gut wirkt.Trotz Sport, wandern, Garten- und Hausarbeit etc.pp. rieche ich kein bisschen schwitzig.Okay, die Konsistenz ist zuerst einmal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran.Und noch sehr sehr wichtig:Dieses Deo ist nur dann wirkluch leicht zu verwenden, wenn man rasierte Achseln hat. Ansonsten verheddert sich die Paste mit den Achselbärchen, was unangenehm ist.Ich besuche für beide Achseln nur eine nicht mal erbschengroße Menge, dann schmiert auch nichts! Uund so komme ich mit einem Topf monatelang aus. Auch im Sommerurlaub im Süden ist es bei mir immer dabei (dann die kleine Dose) und kann sogar im Handgepäck transportiert werden, da fest! Der Duft ist auch sehr angenehm. Ich mag auch Lavendel und Rose sehr gerne und Bergamotte!Es gibt für mich kein besseres Deo!!!Keinerlei Schweißgeruch, extrem sparsam, ohne giftige Inhaltsstoffe, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, einfach zu benutzen...kurz: Perfekt 😄

Best natural deodorant out there!!! ...Spent years and Penny's on natural deodorants to be then disappointed ! ..so came across Schmidt deodorant and bang no smelly pits!!! Love this fragrance.. Subtle but pleasant.. It doesn't stop you sweating but stops you from the embarassment smelly BO!! Instead you smell the calming fragrance of ylang ylang.. Well worth the price and will be making future purchases..

Franchement pour le prix c'est nul.
