I was a bit dubious about these until they arrived - but they are so brilliant! They work fantastically in the hall to hold the door firmly so it no longer slams in a breeze when front and back door are open. The magnet is so strong, yet they look elegant and unobtrusive.Just take care on positioning - the one in the hall was perfect but the one on the back door was not lined up properly so is less successful as the magnet isn’t so well aligned (but that’s my fault not the design!) I used the sticky pads rather than screws so when I have a minute I’ll try to reposition the back door one as a spare sticky pad was supplied.

The media could not be loaded. Didn't come with instructions but it was straight and simple.The magnet is just right. It is strong enough to keep the door open but not too strong that you need to really pull to disconnect.I opted to use the screws rather than the double sided tape. I am not really sure if the tape would last since again, the magnet is strong.It has like a spring type where the magnet hits the metal, this makes the connection smoother (a bit of a bounce) and not like a 'thump'.Also I find that if you open the door too quick, it sometimes doesn't connect with the magnet, it bounces back.But other than that, it is very good and very helpful

I can't find anything to dislike about them. They keep doors securely in place and are a must-have for any home or office. I'm impressed and highly satisfied with this product!

Conventional door wedges have a nasty habit of damaging the bottom of your doors or being a bit of a tripping hazard. This stop prevents the door handle damaging the wall and stops the door slamming shut when there is a draft from front and back doors being open at the same time. The stop is sprung loaded to avoid bounce back when the door is flung open. Very easy to install.

Firstly, it's actually strong enough to hold my front door (while I take my bike in and out) which is a fire door with a self closing mechanism. Only just strong enough though.Materials are ok but some parts needed filing because of sharp edges which hadn't been finished.I didn't bother with the adhesive pads, and screwed it in place for a more secure fit (be careful to get it properly lined up).Overall, it works on a heavy door but it does feel pretty cheap.

The build quality is good. The magnet is a bit too strong. The 3M adhesive is not strong enough and came off in a couple of days. So ended up screw it onto the wall and door.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased over About 3 years. The last one went rusty inside, then my husband accidentally kicked it and it snapped off so I ordered a new one.I have given it a good rating as although I have had 3 in 3 years, it works and had a strong magnetic hold for my bifolds and it’s cheap as chips.I used the 3m adhesive round sticker for the part that attaches to the door, but I screwed the base that attaches to ground (decking) and it’s secure and works a treat. No more door swinging out onto my wall and wrecking the corner of my lovely K Rend.
