Korean Grammar Language Study Card: Essential Grammar Points for the Topik Test (Includes Online Audio)

Being a complete learner to the Korean language, I have been slowly learning Hangul and a few words here and there, hopefully gradually building up to a more intensive study (purely out of personal interest).A few weeks ago I purchased the Korean Vocabulary version in this series. When I received it I wondered just why I paid so much money for what is, in effect, a few nicely printed pages that have been laminated together. How wrong I was! I have referred to those pages almost every day every since and what a time-saver! No longer flicking through books or my notes for pronunciation hints or other details, everything I wanted to know was on the card. So, what better thing to do than to buy this grammar language study to accompany it.The design is idential to the vocab version, 6 beautifully printed and easy-to-read pages laminated into a "book" form with the last page being slightly narrower and so fitting neatly into the middle, down the side are punched holes for those who want to put this in a binder.There is a wealth of valuable information here for both beginner and intermediate learner, including sections on double consonants, aspirated consonants, combined vowels, Korean speech styles, formal language... a long list of items all printed in their own sections clearly marked.A real bonus again is the zip file of all the audio for each page and section which can be downloaded free. I knew the vocab audio was ideal and I have to say that the audio for this grammar study is just as good.Priced at £4.85 at the time of this review, I thought it to be quite expensive when I bought the vocabulary version but it is actually worth every penny - especially having free audio downloads. If you are learning Korean, this (and the vocab version) are an absolute must. They offer good advice, sensible study aids, and have a huge wealthy of information contained in just a few pages, so saving a lot of time hunting through endless pages of books and notes. I am glad I bought both of these, they are great learning tools.

Really useful, although as a beginner I am currently using the companion vocabulary more frequently.
